Supplements to make MDMA actually work for me?

Ive tried MDMA 3 times now and felt nothing. I know it was legit MD because my friend took less than I did and it worked for her and we'd tested it.
I don't think dosage is an issue because on saturday I took around 300mg over the course of about 2 hours and still nothing.
I have had depression in the past and around 10 weeks ago I came off of 10mg of Prozac a day, which I had been taking for around 3 months. I know SSRIs can diminish the effects but surely enough time has passed?
Could 5htp or other supplements help me roll? How would I do it?

We have no pools in this forum, no need to SWIM - we all know its you - even those pesky police officers won't be deceived ;) welcome anyways.

As far as SSRI's and MDMA go, have a read of this: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/mdma_info9.shtml

For supplements try: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=407429

I've also started 5HTP, i've noticed my mood has been slightly elevated, yet to try it before MDMA though. I remember reading on here that you shouldn't take it 3-4 days before the roll instead the weeks leading up to it, but never seen anything solid, but i'd recommend that anyways and is what i'm doing.

Thanks for the links! Any idea why it would not work for me? The report seems to say that higher doeses are needed for those on SSRIs. But I took around 300mg?!

Not sure really, you said you tested the mandy, were the results solid? I don't doubt that you've probably got good MDMA rocks so i'd say its still the anti-depressants. 300mg is a big dose so you should have been FUCKED haha. It's more than double what i take and i'm a 6ft 80kg lad - 120 has me gurned. Have a little look around the internet and see if you can find anything on it.

^^^^i wouldnt give up just yet. try not taking ANY kind of chems or drugs at all for a couple more months then try again. eat healthy and exercise is good too. GL>

Is it worth trying again in a couple of weeks or would it be bad for me? How long do you think it would take to get back to normal?

I would really look into Aniracetam or piracetam. Not too sure about the half life of prozad but 10 weeks sounds like enough time that you should have been able to feel it...if it didn't cause a permanent change in your brain to where you will never be able to roll (has been reported by some people). Maybe people that have came off prozac and were able to roll could shed some light. it could be you just need to wait longer.

Personally I would wait a few months and during that time get a stock Aniracetam or piracetam. That way you are not building you tolerance by attempting to roll too many time and too close together. you will give your body more time to return to normal after the prozac and you can start a piracetam regimine before you are going to try again just in case...if you don't roll after all that... :(

thanks guys. ill wait a few more weeks before trying again, and ill try some supplements too - i really hope it works for me, ill be gutted if prozac has messed up my head like that. ill let you know if it works when i try it next

You are going to have to stop taking the SSRI's and perhaps a diet very high in tryptophan, beans, carbohydrates. 5htp comes from tryptophan, your body processes it better though imo. If you take 5htp / tryptophan take a low dose. Eat lots of carbs like pasta beans potatoes etc. Less other protein and more carbs = more serotonin (and melatonin in darkness).

^ Couldn't have said it better myself.

Ive recently been prescribed prozac (SSRI), which im not taking and i plan on boosting my serotonin naturally.
Don't forget,

Sunlight + exercise are also important for the conversion,
I think that excess amounts of cannabis actually low serotonin levels (Might be irrelevant to yourself)
Also i think there may also be a connection with too much alcohol depleting those levels too.

Too much of any drug/substance seems bad, all in moderation for true happiness and drug appreciation I think.

If I could go back I wouldn't use the prozac. All I want to do is go out and take a bit of ecstasy lol and it's made things so complicated. I can't believe after two and a half months after I stopped taking it it's still affecting my brain - that shit's weird. I couldn't feel anything other than average, I wouldn't be crying and shit but couldn't be happy either... not worth it.
