Super Summer - what's been your highlights??

I've had my ups and downs but I definitely have hightlights for this summer!
1. Field Day 2003! Went nuts!
2. Have to agree with Kat, first time at Sublime, met Bluelighters and joined bluelight hehe :)
3. Sounds for Kat's 22nd birthday!
4. Got over a silly boy!
5. Sounds/YU - Australia Day long weekend!
6. Loving work.
7. Two Tribes - met more bluelighters (starfalls and doon, special shout out)
8. Mum knows about me doing pills and although she's not happy - I don't have to lie anymore
9. I have the bestest friends ever!!
10. I'm somewhat happy :)

1) shoulder reconstruction
2) not being able to move, and losing most of my muscle mass and fitness becaise of 1).
3) exams
Been a shitty summer - my worst ever by far. The upside of it is that I leave summer knowing I'll have better times, instead of the melancholy feeling of leaving the best part of the year behind.

This summer, shit, where do I start. It was such a huge summer.
Highlights are kind of difficult to pick out of the whole muddle.
Night @ Sublime with best mates, meeting a particularly cool new person, who'd rate up there as a pretty damn good friend these days.
Christmas with my family, followed by an LSD enriched expedition to LOTR - Two Towers, for the premiere the next day.
New Years Day, Field Day, an intensely chopped expedition into very good chunky, funky house, some rain, and a fair bit of good company. Pity about work the next day.
Quitting Opiates, happened a few days after NYD, spent quality time on the couch, accompanied by my VERY good friend, the bucket. ;)
RobertRollie's farewell in Canberray. My first Candyflip, and some very quality time spent with friends, also some very quality time spent with trees, and grass.
Going to see Bowling For Columbine, sparked a whole heap of changes.
Getting fired from my shitty Finance job, and deciding to move down to Canberra, in order to finish my novel, and basically get my shit in order.
Meeting someone else for the first time. ;)
My birthday! Trying to rationalise turning 20 with still being an irresponsible brat at heart.
Transmission, intense love of DJ's JamX & De Leon. Intense love of most things actually, slight suspicion of chemical enhancement. The tuesday following, chemical enhancement confirmed, with a huge ass comedown. My last two pills for a LONG TIME.
Two Tribes. My brother's first rave. Dave Seaman rocks the socks! My last rave in Sydney.
Now, its autumn, and I'm in Canberra, my toes are cold, and I'm missing my Sydney friends a bit, I'm working out what my life's going to do next, but that's okay. Its been a blast of a summer, and I wonder if I'll ever see one quite as intense again? But then again, the summer before that was just as intense, I suppose I'll be a year older when the next one comes around. But that's the way it goes.
*Cheers*

^^
Plaz u rock man, seriously by reading your post i'd say your well on your way to achieving everything your setting out to.
As for me my highlights are
- finishing HSC and thus school
- transmission, seeing my ultimate fav, trance dj's live (love u jamx and de leon)
- two tribes, being introduced to new worlds of music (not just hard trance and hardcore)
Its a confusing time now though, as most of my friends are starting their uni courses, or have fallen into full time jobs that lead somewhere.
Whilst im working full time in a cafe making coffee and waiting tables. The only certainty being that i am leaving these shores bound for england (my place of birth) in june. BUt then what?? I dont know, but thats part of the reason im doing it.
