A thread titled: Driving On Drugs
that asks "What's the worst drug to drive on???"
http://www2.bluelight.ru/ubb/Forum19/HTML/009534.html
I've had enough of this bullshit. It just goes to show the lack of MATURITY that some people have.
I feel helpless and saddened by the complacent attitudes that I see all around Bluelight.
Bluelight has really gone to the dogs. It doesn't seem to be about harm minimisation anymore. It seems to be more about finding tips & tricks from around the world get higher, make it last longer and put your own health and other people's safety at risk.
Not to mention your own LIFE and the LIVES of the people around you.
I've had enough of hearing about the "most mashed you've ever been". That's not why I joined Bluelight.
After reading threads like "Driving On Drugs", I feel ashamed to call myself a Bluelighter. I don't need the status, I just want to reduce the possibility of people getting hurt from using drugs!
Spreadin' the word in Perth,
Miss Flea

Don't let it get you down too much Miss Flea, there will always be people who have no consideration for others unless we have people like you who want to change things...
So if you give up, it just makes it harder for our little blue part of the world to become a better (and safer) place...
And even tho it sometimes seems like you're one of the very few trying, there are more of us out here doing our part...

Miss Flea. As you I jump into Other Drugs from time to time. I only do so to correct the wrongs. We all know that ppl in that Forum especially the MOD Phreex don't have much respect for harm minimisation.

Huh,...What,...Who,....Dude I can't here a fucken word your saying.

here's a special *bump* for all my new friends in Sydney. that Dome place where Utopia was held was well set up for public transport. hope none of you drove home - there really wasn't any excuse.
cheers.

Some threads can't be read enough.

*Kitty glares at all the BLers... just give me one more reason to scream at you*
------------------
The only thing I'm good at is being bad.

*Reads this for the 10th time and decides to bump it*
*then to the amazement of few opens his mouth*
My sentiments here may be seen to be poorly chosen in terms of irony and the high likelyhood that my point will be missed (it usually is, damn the english language and its intricasies), but I'll venture on anyway.
I don't drive a car.
I ride a bike(lots) and take pt (often) and am a passenger in a car (seldom)
I have many reasons for this, and they lead me to feel really bad, every time I get into a car when I could have done it a better way...
One of them is that while I have the increased potential of being killed, on my bike - like DQ's dad, I will never be in control of a car and will never be like the woman in the crash.
It may seem to be just another way of weaseling out of responsibility (DQ himself has driven me home once), but I think that the more people reclaim the streets as pedestrians and cyclists, and more people get on trains and trams, the fewer tragedies like this will occur.

so does this thread qualify as harm reduction?
i would've thought so.
