Light dances across an empty room
Reflections of a sun goddess on the floor
Firey hair rising and flowing like rivers on the sky
Alone with my thoughts in blessed torture
I dream of another life, another me
In a time in the past
When time stood still

Then the gears in my mind
Are spurred into a mechanical action
Fast forward to the present
A dark spot - a deep rut

My mind reels with the possibilites
Of what could
be. With me?
Soul searching
Buddhist chants
Quaran enlightenment
Religious cacophany
Illuminated soul.

Pull the needle
out of my
arm. your soul
is so fucking beautiful
I can see for miles

Egyptian strings
Prayer call
I go to wait
I go to think
