i wrap my thoughts around you
i think about what this could possibly be
i stretch it and manipulate...further that is repairable, fully
concious of the impending pseudo-definition of failure
but you have no idea what i thought was coming
and i have no idea that you understand not one bit of what i put out there
miscommunication being the key to the cold allowing me to endlessly perpetuate my metaphor...
peace is goodness, goodness is warmth,
and so i find in inevitable, that i do not move my life, but in this region, winter strikes
and if there is perhaps the correct mixture of external stimuli that i internally reject as being inherent
the months of the season dissappear
and i am still cold
and if perhaps the presently human embodiment of which i always call "you" exists in my space
an acts according to self-fullfilling prophecy
winter is twelve months long but i am too engrossed in domesticating my own self-pity that i do not notice
and if, suddenly, all that i preach is found to be true, and the ringing like a moral tuning fork inside me ceases to produce a note that sings with the residual worry of hypocracy...i will bask in your eternal springtime...
