Is there any drugs besides cannabis that lower your body temp slightly to make Summer not so shit?

take some heroin, and wait for withdrawls. You ll have cold turkey in no time.

I can't answer the question about reducing body temp, but my favourite summer drugs are acid and alcohol. Booze because nothing beats a cool beer on a cold day, and because everyone is out drinking and there always plenty of honeys about to flirt with after a little dutch courage.

Acid is great because of the bright sky, the festivals, everyone been in a good mood and how summer and sun light always seems to give off happy vibes when tripping.

Poor lagger, can't get a serious response ha ha

Lagger, you want to know which drugs can lower body temperature? In terms of recreational drugs, benzodiazepines, barbiturates and ethanol can to a certain extent. There are some drug-drug interactions known to cause/exacerbate hypothermia when the ambient temperature is low. Here is a list of such interactions:

Note that most of those interactions are between diazepam and lithium carbonate though.

That's probably not something that you want to go about trying to give yourself lol.

I suppose CNS depressants would be the main group that would have any lowering of body temperature? I can't see it being by much though.

Sit in front of an air conditioner, it's much more effective and safer.

Agreed, I can think of better ways to spend my time then trying to chemically lower my body temperature or cause hypothermia ha ha.

In the heat of summer, any effect would be minimal if it exists at all. It's when the temperature around you (the ambient temperature, as I said in my first post) is cold that these substances can cause a dangerous amount of heat loss. The mechanism is due to vasodilation leading to increased blood flow at the skin and a higher rate of heat transfer.

Ha, I just noticed I have over 11,000 posts now. And none of them in The Lounge! :D

If piperazines didn't have such shit effects i would use them at low doses.
I dont want to get high I have a problem with sweating a lot in summer, i dont even do recreational drugs anymore. benzos and alcohol always made me sweat and feel overheated.

weed seems to be the only thing that works but i have to wait until the initial high/buzz is over as low doses of weed dont do anything. wish there was a known bunch of active cannabinoids that did not get you high or buzzed.

to get around the heat and humidity lately i have been lying down in 17 degrees temperature thanks to air conditioning and forcing myself to go into a dream land where i am not totally sleeping but i am dreaming in some other reality. then an hour later i wake up with blue dry lips and all my limbs are cold, the back of my neck remains sweating. i think i have learnt how to put myself into some sort of semi coma altho i am diabetic and it feels a lot ,like when i havent had my pen

^ It's a beta blocker but forget I said that because I was thinking of something else. :o

Certain anticholinergics can help... but there have been cases of reduced ability to sweat whilst under hot temperatures leading to fever and heat stroke.

id rather that than to feel irritable :P
i am unable to die from drugs or drug overdose.
its a gift and a curse

^ You are unable to die from drugs or a drug overdose?

Yeah... sure...

Forget the drugs, heat stroke can be a lot worse then just feeling 'irritable'.
