Getting up at 4am for work everyday is hard enough...even more so when it's freezing...Winter sucks balls.
 
^ Word to that. Getting called into work at 2am and then wandering around in the dark and freezing cold trying to figure out what the hell has broken down is hilarious! :D
 
I'm so very glad that I won't have to put up with this god-forsaken weather for another year. Warmer climes, here I come! :D

I don't think i'd mind if it were proper winter (snow, sub zero temps - i'd dress properly for it), I also don't mind if i'm at home, with ducted heating and ugg boots when it's cold, but having to be outside in winter-corporate wear and in the office working 5 days a week during a southern winter blows.

It was seriously beautiful in Brisbane. Warm in the sun and chilly in the shade, but it sat at around 20 degrees for most of the time (with the exception of one day - 12 degrees! BOO!)
 
I couldn't agree more Samadhi. You can keep that bleak miserable winter where it rains and doesn't snow. That's why I left New Zealand. Winter is only fun when it is dropping knee deep snow and I don't have to drive in it. I love having a reason to huddle around a fire and eat and drink comfort food but regular 9-5 life freezing your arse off is just plain stupid. Unlike summer where you can hit the water to cool off there is no fun activity to warm up.
 
This week it's going to be as low as 3 degrees every morning! Ghey :(

Here in Melbourne it seems like Winter has been much milder than Autumn was. I am excited to put my flannelette sheets on soon :D
