do you ever feel unwanted?
have you ever felt unloved?
do you look at the sky and wonder sometimes
what are the clouds hiding above?
is there reason for all the madness?
is there thought behind the hate?
is there something we cant put our finger on
that keeps us from discovering our fate?
should we know what we are here for?
should we even wonder why?
when will i understand my reason
to just break down and cry?
can someone please explain to me
the hatred of our kind?
can it even be put in words
understood by our minds?
i saw three men die tonight
in a war they probably never intended to fight
they hid for their lives but were spotted by eyes
of a desensitized group of young men with guns
i always want to know the answers to the questions that only i could know the answers to.
my feelings as of this moment are held captive by my thoughts. im too busy to cry right now, im thinking. ill come back to feeling sorry later, ill push it aside. ill worry about it when i should be happy, later, sometime further down the road. ill consume myself with questions, and ill answer them without words. take your pain and make it constant, take your time and stretch it out, weaken the load of every minute to strengthen yourself. be kind to others... not because you want to, but because you have to. find truth in all their lies, but keep it to yourself and build yourself upon them. let them say what they want to say, but think to yourself what they mean. let them speak a thousand words before you speak just one. hide yourself behind a wall of false understanding to let them think you care.
