Opioids Sulfate + Hcl

SWIM has 70ml of 1mg/ml oramorph Morphine.hcl liquid and was wondering if SWIM could mix this with the 140mg of morphine sulfate BP he has to make it more concentrated and IV it.

any1 done this before?
 
No, the oral liquid contains a heap of shit you don't want to put in your veins.

Why do you want to make the morphine sulfate more concentrated?
 
dnt want the sulfate more concentrsated, i want the to make the oramorph solution more concentrated
 
I'm not sure about filtering it, that could remove some problematic substances but you probably won't get everything out of it. You'd have to look at all the ingredients of the oramorph and then figure out their size and whether or not they would be removed with a 0.2 micron filter.

I personally wouldn't risk it... maybe if you do a search on BL there might be a way to extract the morphine, I can't remember if I have ever seen a method for that before.
