Misc Suggested: two new focus forums: Opiates and Stimulants

Hi, I'm a newbie here so please be kind. Simulants are my thing but I find the process of searching for "Amphetamines" among several other sub-forums in the Other Drugs forum to be ARDUOUS. I wonder if the downer fans in the Bluelight community are having the same problems separating the "Opiods" wheat from the Other Drugs chaff? Christ knows life is tough enough on us upper and downer freaks as it is without forcing us to pick through threads in the catch-all bin! 8o But then I'm sure the notion of creating an Opiates focus forum and a Simulants focus forum to handle more than half the Other Drugs traffic (sorry) has been discussed before. Probably there was a good reason for not doing it then, and that reason is just as good now. But just in case, I'm asking if it's possible to create those two new focus forums.
 
this has been brought up many many times while i have been here, we even had a poll about it, i don't think it's happening.. Mods would know more than me tho.
 
I was thinking the SAME thing. Opiate users and stimulant users seem to be very drug specific people. As in they only do those types of drugs, typically. Same with Psychedelic users, and they have their own forum. I think it'd be fantastic to have a Opiate and Stimulant sub-forum considering how large of a user base they both have.

Indeed, it has been suggested, ad nauseum (not a slight on you Johnny I realize you're new to us). IMO it's generally a good idea but might prove more complicated than amassing all the "Other" drug posts together; you'd have the Opiates/Opioids forum, the Stimulants forum but then you'd need room for benzos, the Z-drugs, psychiatric medications etc.

Good idea, but to reiterate what Hdubs said, not so sure it will happen here.

Now would be a good time as any to do it since our new search engine on the new BL sucks if you don't know how to use it in advanced..
But i really don't think it's necessary, if it takes an extra 5min to find a post or thread so what? you're online looking up drugs, i would guess you aren't going anywhere for a few minutes.
