Hi,
SWIM has been addicted to mephedrone for the past year, it sucked up thousands of pounds, caused SWIM relationship problems, work problems, health problems and at the end SWIM was missing AT LEAST 3 nights sleep a week on benders, during which SWIM would drink nothing but cider, eat nothing and chain smoke.
SWIM has been clean of mephedrone for over a fortnight (had coke twice but continued to function as normal person day after and slept) which is the longest SWIM has gone since trying it last year.
SWIM'S life has changed beyond recognition, SWIM is up before 7am most days, SWIM'S house is immaculate, she eats well, smokes less, is getting on great with bf and SWIM is earning and getting finances back in order.
The only thing SWIM has been mildly concerned about is the amount of energy drinks she is consuming - prob about 20 last week (sugar free, 250ml cans, 32mg caffiene per 100ml) and so far about 10 this week....SWIM personally feels that health wise this is fuck all to worry about when compared to how she has been living the last year but people (even people who do coke and meph) keep telling SWIM its REALLY bad for her.....SWIM has been on google and can't find anything to support sensationalist claims that it "rots your liver" and the such or even anything scientific to back the fact that its "extremely" harmful other than stuff saying to do anything in moderation and that ones body should provide anough energy for itself from food and drink - obviously true but from a stim junkie's point of view not relevant.
SWIM appreciates all things should be done in moderation and she is aware that she is probably using it as a crutch to replace the meph but finds it hard to believe that its anywhere near as bad for her body as what SWIM was doing to it for a year with mephedrone.
Does anyone have any evidence to supposrt the claims that energy drinks are the devil in cans and will dissolve my insides if SWIM drinks any more than the recommended dose of caffiene each day???
Thanks for reading.
