Stimulants Sudafed - 30mg or 120mg for studying?

Hello everyone,

I'm currently out of my adderall script and need to wait a couple weeks to get a new one. I need something to help me prepare for something important coming up next week, and have been thinking of buying Sudafed. However, I'm not sure which dose to take for studying. Should I buy:

• Q1: Sudafed 30mg dose (red box) or Sudafed 120mg dose (blue box)?

• Q2: How much do you recommend I start off with?

• Q3: Do you recommend an alternative to adderall/Sudafed that I could use? Have only 3 days until the big day.

Welcoming advice from people who have taken Sudafed (Pseudophedrine) in the past for studying. Thank you!

Note: 30 years old, very active, swimmer + weightlifting + very healthy diet. 5'11" - 175lbs / 180.34 cm - 79kg

I dont know regarding the 120mg one.

I bought the generic Pseudophedrine brand at 30mg today. Took 2 tablets as directed on the back of the box, so 60mg total. Felt pretty good. Might up the dose to 90mg on my important day were I'll need it. I also combined it with L-Tyrosine (500mg). Felt happy, talkative and motivated in my studying today.

Have you taken Sudafed before? if so how much is enough to get the similar affects to adderall? Thanks!

60mg pseudo is a perfectly fine functional, mild stimulant for study or work or whatever.

I don't think upping the dose will make it more like Adderall. Others may have different experience, but I find pseudo gets a bit gross in higher doses and it becomes apparent that it's kind of limited in its action and a bit crude.

If you're thinking of doing 90mg, perhaps do a test run before the big day, just in case you have a negative or unexpected reaction to the higher dose. Also, I've never heard of a 120mg pseudo product. That'd be kind of wild and for some regular, non drug experienced type folks, could be uncomfortable.

q1: whatever is cheaper by the mg
q2: 60mg, instant release. if the 120mg is extended release, crush it up
q3: not really, if there was an OTC alternative everyone would do it

pseudo is a fine stimulant, for physical stimulation. not so sure about it being a good study aid

I've found 2x30mg IR is a decent functional stimulant dose.

If you can get benzedrex inhalers, the propylhexedrine in those can better approximate Adderall than Sudafed would. The only problem is you have to chop the cotton inside into pieces and then eat the pieces , which taste ungodly bad due to the lavender and menthol (or whatever) they dose the cottons in.

30-60mg is fucking ace as a decongestant but won't do anything for studying. TBH I injected [but don't do that] like 180mg once and it didn't really do anything.
It's kinda shit as a stimulant.

Even Ephedrine isn't it. I made me lose a lot of weight and induce a borderline-psychosis, but...meh

Adderall W0ULD work...even caffeine is better than Pseudoephedrine IME. Amphetamine Sulphate is good...dexamphetamine, lisdexamphetamine, methylphenidate

My experience limited to 25 mg Ephedrine Ephedra extract.
They are banned for years btw, no clue why, but no more available.

I can t find their equivalent dosages but 25 mg Ephedrine when stim naive.
Seems like a good start, or even half, you can t study with a racing heart.
So keep the dose as low and functional as possible.

It will not be like Amphetamine s, those are way cleaner. So dose low.
