hey guys , this is my first post on here so im sorry if i violate any rules, im a member of a bunch of forums but none like this one .. lol..

anyways, iv been taking opiotes for the past year and i really want to kick the habbit, i went to the suboxone dr almost 8 months ago in the beggining stages of this and i got subs, well i started doing op's again and now i finally stopped, but only due to taking subutex from my friend.. my ? is, will it be hard for me to goto a dr and get a script for subutex NOT suboxone if im already on it? should i tell the dr im on them and feel fine n bought some off the street or what? lol.. can you guys help me out so i dont walk out of there with no subutex and a drug habbit still? i feel so normal on these and i love them, unlike suboxone im very depressed and i cannot move. yeah i know you can get addicted to these also but i do not plan on taking them for years like some dr's tell ppl to, i want to lean myself off slowly.. thanks in adance guys i appreicate it ..

Just tell them that you think, after researching, that the Naloxone in them is giving you adverse effects (like the ones you described).
It's quite common for people to have bad side effects from the Naloxone in Suboxone actually.

Obviously, I'd wait for a few more people to respond before you take mine as the absolute resolution as I could make things worse, plus the more thoughts the merrier :)

I have a middle aged indian woman for my doc. When I first went in I told her id been taking tex' when I coudn't score opiates and asked if I could be written fir it. She immediately changed the subject to suboxone and whipped out the 75$ coupon. I think it boils down to the doc because some know tex may be more abusive and I think others make a lot of money of suboxone. Mine questioned me, almost angrily, as to why I wanted tex...

Its worth a shot though duder, doesn't hurt to ask, maybe your doc isn't old school like some and will give you what you're used to.

That being said, I believe tex is used only in the beginning of treatmeant and is monitored, but like I said it alllll boils down to the docta!! Good luck, its a tough journey bro, never ends either....so if you are gettin meds get them to save your own life and stay looow in milligrams, it's just easier, for me atleast
