I'm on 12mg subs a day, i usually snort 30-38mg the first day i get em, most of the rest on the second day, and if i have a few mg's left i'll take em on the third day... now i told my doc i was doing this, and why i'm doing it, coz i like to get high, and if i wasn't on bupe (which is all free, docs, meds all) i would be back on the codeine/prometh, morphine and H...

So after i told her that, i think she did this to test me, instead of giving me a 2 week prescription to be refilled each week, she gave me a 2 week prescription all to be delivered at once... and being the gready bastard that i am, my 2 weeks of subutex went in 3 or 4 days (can't quite remember)

I have now been "clean" for 5 days, i had the shits a bit, so i had some immodium left from my MMT W/D last year, i got some RLS but this medication i got ages ago (olanzépine) for mood stabilisation which is actually an anti epiliptic med too, seems to treat the RLS quite well...

I started doing sport about 20 days ago, every day jogging, push ups, boxing, sit ups... and i started an SSRI (escitaprolam), the SSRI seems to be helping a lot with my mood, i had only tried SNRI's before which didn't do shit but make me fatter.

I also in my greed, got through 45 times 400mg meprobamate, 14mg's loprazolam, and 680 mg diazepam in a week or a bit less... leaving me with 10mg diazepam per day for this week, and 5mg for the before last and last day... so it has been over 3 days (4nights) that i've been on the 10mg diazepam...

Diazepam has a long-ass half life, so i should be ok for another couple of days, but it will probably get tougher... because so far, i'm feeling pretty good, is it the sport?, the healthier diet? the SSRI? the Placebo effect? Me just wanting to change for the best? maybe all of these combined...

When i was on MMT i couldn't go more than 48 hours (2 days) without it... I've been now 5 days without bupe, and no torturous W/D symptoms?

I think i'll stop here, because i could go on, but the most important is the first couple of paragraphs.

Any input? thoughts? comments?

Wow glad to see that coming off bupe is easy for you because even a low dose is pretty bad for me. Good luck with your change for the better and hope it continues to be easy.

dude what the hell are u thinking taking so much sub?!? u snort 30-38mgs in a day?? There is no need to go over 32mgs supposidly but IMO there is no need for anyone to be on more then 8mgs a day... Bupe is strong man and i think ur looking for a high that will never find with subs.

true^

plus, the half life is up to 96 hours (from what i remember), so we'll see in a few days if you still feel fine...

cuz if you were literally dependant on opiates, and then took sub, youd garentee get withdrals when ustoppd

but you took so much it could be lasting a long ass time

if you dont WD at all, then im thinking u might of not been TOO addicted to opies

also codeine....theres no need for sub, unless you really were taking a shit load of the H and morphine

^^well it allways starts with codeine.. its otc 600mg a day... until that dosn't do the trick anymore... then the morphine (200mg IV) or H... i was also on MMT 90mg for a year and a half... which is quite a high dose of a strong opiate... so i would consider my addiction to opiates over the last 3+ years not "terminal", but serious enough....

Well, I will say damn subs. are the craziest drug I HAVE ever taken. I mean, it has practically "reset" my tolerance, in a matter of two week. Now, I not bitching, I'm actually thrilled to death, as long as it don't get out of control, again.

So if anything strange, like this, was going to happen, I would say it would occur with subs. But 32mg. If you slide by with no WDs, you better go to church and say a prayer. I know I would.:)

Withdrawal is weird. Like a lot of things it's actually way more personal than most people realize. Like a hangover it depends on so many wild and intersecting variables that it is just about impossible to make a surefire method for preventing it. It's like playing russian roulette but with only one bullet missing instead of only one bullet, sometimes you just get lucky. This week I ended an oxy/heroin/opiate habit that had been going on for over half a year and I honestly felt just about fine. Previously I had felt ten times worse just going one day without a hydrocodone. And don't even get me started on how hard I had it coming off of subs last summer.

Now there are always things you can do to make your chances of a good experience better. Things like the benzo and the SSRI and the exercise. But I would never say to someone that it's a sure thing.

The simplest I would ever make it would be that it comes down to your psychology at that time in your life, your health at that time, your available treatment drugs, one hundred other intangibles and finally a good portion of simple luck.

Basically if I were you I would NOT take any risk by going back on subs or opiates of any kind. Count your blessings and take this opportunity to shut the door on those drugs, at least for a good long while.
