Subutex and alcohol... Experiences and limits..

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone has been pissed before and snorted a few lines of subby? I've been snorting subby for the past couple of days in very small amounts.. Only small lines at a time off an 8mg tablet.. However I've had about 8 pints tonight in the space of 12 hours and just had a reasonably small line of subby about 15 minutes ago.. I've got a feeling I should be ok but wanted to know if anyone else has done this before? I was slightly pissed the other night and had no problem snorting a few lines to send me off into a good nod..

You should be ok, just don't take anymore subs and drink some water. Most people actually find that subs take away most of the euphoria from alcohol and find it not worth it, probably due to the naloxone in it (but don't quote me on that). Also basic questions like this should be posted to basic drug discussion or other drugs, just a little heads up for next time.

It's actually pretty dangerous to do this. By itself it is very hard to overdose off of buprenorphine due to its limit on resperitory depression, however, when combined with another CBS depressant such as benzodiazepine's, barbiturates or alchohol, you drastically increase your chances of OD. It is also important to toe that if you are opiate naivel buprenorphine is an incredibly strong opioid, and sublingual dosages of .2 mg are prescribed for pain.
