I developed a significant opiod dependency while recovering from a huge car accident last year.

Lately my Drs have been encouraging me to considering switching to suboxone from oxycontin. their argument is that suboxone cuts all wds to zero instantly and is highly effective with pain control.

I'm still in quite a bit of pain and oxycontin does a really really good job of controlling it.

anyone with any experience here? much appreciated

dont be a fool, thats BS they tell you so they dont have to script you highly abusable medications. Suboxone does kill pain but not like a real opiate does at all.
