i was just browsing along the internets and stumbled into this whole "serial label", subscription type music. Apparently you subscribe to the label and they send you every issue (weekly for instance) music from the artists of that label. you can also gife the music you get, once per issue. the costs i see were around 5$/month or 50$/year

anyone else heard/tried this?
or are you sticking to youtube and torrents and suggestions from the more finely eared and versed fellow eadd-ers?

I haven't paid for any music in years, although I feel I've more than paid more than enough cash to record labels when I used to mix vinyl. I do like the idea though, although it obviously depends on which label it is, and how many tunes they're gonna release in a year. Realistically though, it ain't gonna stop me thieving tunes. Don't rip youtube vids though mate, the quality of them is shite

im not ripping anything :) was curious if anyone gave these a shot.
this is such a label: http://www.other-people.net/
im pretty sure not everything they will churn out will be class, but the price seems low enough to attract attention, the artists ok, and you get to support them somehow.

guess i just found the concept interesting.
