Is it worth it to take subs recreationally if i have a hookup for them super cheap? I did it once and enjoyed it alot, as Oxy is probably the strongest opiate ive done although i do alot of them. just curious on peoples opinion if they have any rec. value, especially if i can get 8mg for cheap as hell.

Well not everyone likes the high from them most prefer full short acting agonists for recreational use but you already said you enjoy the high so why not try them again?
They do have recreational value I sure love the high I get from them but the thing is tolerance gets high if you use them daily for more than a day or two due to the long half life of buprenorphine. The best way to use Suboxone for recreational use is to stick to 2-3mgs in a day or 0.5-1mgs every dose. This way the drug acts like a full agonist opiate versus a partial one because low doses actually convert to a full opiate agonist(Nor-Buprenorphine) and high doses stay a partial agonist not giving any typical opiate like effects.

I was able to stay awake in a class and feel amazing. sure i think i was nodding on 2mgs, but i was able to do 6mg total and still stay awake, just be hella high. it was one of those classes where you can walk around and do whatever though was not stuck in a chair listening all day. I dont think i had done much opiates within the same week so shouldnt have had tolerance

they don't work for me for some reason, i'd get better w/d relief from str8 up valium, cheaper too if rx'd. Well im basing this on the last time I tried em, waited like 12 hours since the last oxy dose and it didn't help my w/d's nor make em any worse ended up taking 2 suboxone 8 mgs - mostly sl'd and some snorted. Had hardly any effect, the only thing that fixed the wd's was moar oxy later that day.

Oh yea well whatever works for you if you were doing it daily then after a few days of 6mgs or so the doses would start overlapping then you wouldn't feel anything.
Which is why if your doing it daily to get the best high its best to stay under 3mgs a day but if your only doing it once in a blue moon you can do a single large dose like 6-8mgs t a time and get pretty buzzed. You must have some tolerance even if you didn't do any that week your body is still probably used to opiates I mean opiate naive people get high from 0.2-0.4mgs at a time so 6 whole mgs would be enough to put someone in a coma for a day or two if they were naive depending on different factors. It may not seem like it but that's a shit load of opiates to do and if your start doing it often then oxys won't get you high unless your doing 100-200+mgs at a time. Just some things to keep in mind. 1mg Suboxone equals roughly 25mgs oxycodone.

Sub's are worth it for most people you just take retarded doses of oxy
They are not going to get you high especially if you take 700mgs of oxy a day. They are just meant for withdrawal relief if they don't do that then your doing something wrong or you need to lower your opiate tolerance.

Slightly recreational IMO via intranasal, or IV, but IV bupe is terrible for your veins, even micron filtered, so i'm never doing that again, stopped IV alltogether, bupe busted narly all my arm and wrist veins back in the day...
Given i'm on bupe daily (down to 3mg from 8mg), somtimes i will sniff a small amount for a stim+psych come-down, and it's relaxing, not really euphoric, but a slight mood lift.
