hey all,i just joined,i have been on suboxone for over 2yrs. now,i have been reading some of the threads about suboxone and really can't believe what i'm reading,did i read that some folks shoot this stuff?imo that's crazy i mean i thought the naloxone is supposed to block any high if taken that way,i'm not judging anyone,but would love to hear from others on this drug and what it does for them....thanks....T
 
the naloxone is basically inert when combined with buprenorphine whatever ROA you take it.. Bupe has a higher binding affinity for the receptors than naloxone and out competes it. Take a look at the Megathreads first page and it explains more.. http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=537892

When it is taken too soon after a different opiate, the bupe is what causes precipitated w/d's, not the naloxone. Subutex would put you into w/d's just as much as Suboxone. They are basically the same.
