Suboxone/Xanax question. Help plz

I started on the sub a couple months ago and as many of you know you have to stop any benzos you are taking, which I did. So a couple months goes by and I realized I still have a refill for my Klonopins. I am on a cash basis, no insurance. What I was wondering is do you think my doctor will know I refilled my K-pins? I get the sub at a different pharmacy(cheaper). I know about the UA and all that, I can easily pass as I have 20 days left until I visit him again. Thanks for any info
 
It really depends on what state you live in and their pharmacy laws, etc.

Chances are you could probably get it filled but we can't make any promises...

Also, what does this have to do with Xanax?
 
Oops my bad. I meant to put Klonopin, not xanax. I live in Michigan. I guess if he does know I filled them Ill get a UA which I will pass by then. I just want to take a couple because I have a stressful situation coming up today. Thanks for the info
 
why did you have to stop benzos? When I was on Sub I told my doctor straight up that I was taking xanax from the street and he didnt care. Two different times he even prescribed me kpins. Where are you located?
 
dont worry, ur sub doc wont know ur filling ur benzos, he doesnt have time to look into that, especially if its a cash doctor.. trust me, im in the same boat...my sub doc dont know my primary gives me kpins..they r so busy with patients they aint gotthe time to look that shit up. and u gotta signreleases and shit too b4they decide to give u attention on that

pharmacies dont red flag u if ur on subs and benzos as the same time anyway

My sub doctor is a nazi. If you get caught with any benzos in your system at all, you are automatically kicked out of the program, not even a second chance. I cant smoke herb anymore either, same thing happens. It really sucks. Not even allowed to drink alcohol(like he'd know). You have to sign an agreement. I need my k-pins, I have PTSD and panic attacks. Its just stupid. I was just worried he would call my other pharmacy where i get my benzos and ask if Id had any filled recently. I dont plan on testing dirty, I know when to stop. I live in Upper Michigan, as far north as you can get. We have 1 sub doc here and the other one is over 100 miles away.
 
My doc scripts me K-pins when he knows I take 120 mg methadone a day. So I dont see why you had to stop taking k-pin when you started suboxone. I used to get subs and k-pins from the same doc and it was never an issue.

Also if you refill the script there is no reason that you would get in trouble. Its your script and your legally allowed to refill it under any circumstances.
 
I'm going to close this thread because its bordering on a legal gray area and in the end all we can do is speculate because we're not your doctor.
