Okay so I'll start out by saying that I developed a Percocet habit for roughly 8mos(started at 10mg and eventually was taking 30mg or more a day)and was introduced to suboxone from a friend who had detoxed off of opiates and they said the subs really work...if you take them the right way. But of course, I didn't taper off or anything I continued to take 2-4 mg of sub every day to ease the wd's Sometimes just 2 mg a day. For about a year. But I found out I was pregnant and at 8 weeks tried tapering but I honestly did not want to continue with this habit and have my child born with drugs in its system. I did it for myself as well, I could see myself becoming a slave to subs and I figured getting pregnant was the best way to get me to stop. Im quitting cold turkey and last Sunday (1/17/16) I took my last 2 mg strip and haven't had any since then. The wd symptoms started the next day. Not so bad, just really weak and had the cold sweats( Second day was the worst) The symptoms pretty much stayed the same even now at day 5, still freezing all the time, feeling weak with no energy and the worst part is trying to get to sleep! It's terrible not being able to get comfortable. And when I do it's for maybe 15 minutes and then I'm tossing and turning. I'm actually surprised at how much sleep I've been getting(about 7 or 8hrs) because of how hard it is to get to sleep and even worse laying there tired and withdrawing. But anyway this is the main reason I'm posting. It is the 5th day and like I said symptoms are the same. I had work today and it was dreadful. I'm staring to get diarrhea and the chills still come and go..that I can deal with. But I stand all day at work..in one spot. I was having unbearable leg pain in just one leg and I felt like death after a 5 hr shift just standing in one spot. So I took a 5 mg oxy for the leg pain(which is NOT going to be a daily thing) I'm not planning on taking the 5mg oxy every time I'm in pain but I'm curious. Did I just make it worse on myself? Will a 5mg oxy make the wd's start all over? Just curious...I know I shouldn't even be taking it at all because I'm pregnant and detoxing but I feel like taking 5mg won't be as terrible as taking benzos(which is what everyone recommends for wd but is a class d drug whereas oxy is a class b)but it's the 5th day and I dont plan on taking anymore oxy. I'm just curious, did I make it worse on myself?

Withdrawal during pregnancy is highly discouraged because the stress dramatically raises the risk of miscarriage. I highly recommend you get back on a suboxone program. Today right now you need to call your OB-GYN and tell everything you posted here. Your motivation is admirable but your in a dangerous place right now.

As crimsonjunk said, withdrawal during pregnancy is not a good idea, especially because I imagine buprenorphine withdrawal is going to last quite a long time. Perhaps a slow taper would be more appropriate? (question to other posters)

This is dangerous for your baby. You should immediately call a medical provider and get back on Buprenorphine at a low dosage. Your symptoms are likely going to get worse over the next several days. Long term withdrawal while working and being pregnant is extremely stressful on your body. Please inform your prescriber of the Buprenorphine dosages you were taking to stay maintained. Using Suboxone as apposed to generic buprenorphine is also not good for your unborn child. Most women during pregnancy are switched to Subutex which does not have the naloxone. There is some concern the naloxone in Suboxone may increase the likelihood of maternal and subsequently fetal hormonal changes. Data is lacking about the possible long term effects to your child from this combination product.
