Suboxone to reverse opioid withdrawal?

Just an interesting though. Tonight I overdid it on morphine, even though I have an unholy tolerance, it turns out 210mg of plugged morphine was a little too much. I've been puking pretty bad but apart from that I'm holding up.

Took 10mg metoclopramide (for the nausea and puking) and 100mg diphenhydramine to add to my nod and reduce the nausea and then I suddenly got thinking.

In the event of a mild overdose, could one use Suboxone (which I have a small amount of) to partially reverse the overdose. For example, if I plugged 0.5 - 1 mg of suboxone (obviously including ~0.25mg naloxone but that's neither here nor there), does anyone reckon it could help take the edge off the overdose? Obviously I don't want to take enough to bring about precipitated WDs but I wondered if the bupe might displace some of the morphine enough to reduce the effects.

Obviously the naloxone is irrelevant, as everyone with a tiny bit of opioid knowledge knows, as the bupe has a much higher binding affinity and consequently the naloxone loses out, regardless of the ROA.

What does everyone think? Seems possible to me. I've heard anecdotal evidence of people who've even reduced heroin OD with suboxone, so it seems possible in theory.

I'd be fascinated to hear people's responses. Right, got to go to bed now, feeling better and nodding very hard. mmm.

Sounds like a recipe to put you into precipitated withdrawals and fuck up your high completely.
You sound pretty coherent so id say dont do it unless your seriously afraid of a serious OD.
