Suboxone taper help

Hello I'm starting suboxone in about ten hours or so. I'm not new to addiction but I'm so unsure of how I will feel. I'm at the point of just checking out of life. I'm so afraid of withdrawing.any advice or support would be great. I'm from Newark nj
 
Hi, Congratulations on making the switch over. I was terrified and here I am. Was even thinking of ways to end my life.

The suboxone will help of course as you say don't use it to soon. We have this for starters --- > Suboxone Mega Thread and FAQ v. 19. I started my sub at 6 and I'm a little bit more edgy all I can do is think about this horror I'm facing. I'm such a fool and a big baby.
 
Just to let everyone know I'm on the way to sanity. I started my subs sat but went and used a few bags anyway it was a waste but I did sleep that night. So now I had to ware till withdrawal to come again and start over. So on mon I started again with 2 mg I had a little headache and blurred vision but I slept that night. I did two msg a day until today. Today I only used one mg and so far so good. I don't get much sleep at night but I do sleep a rough sleep and my energy is not too bad I'm able to walk around slowly. I hope that this continues this way. I'm eating and taking vitamins. Drinking water too. I'm not craving but I do think about how it would be to do a bag and sleep but that would be stupid because I would be throwing my time and money away like I did on sat. Well good luck to everyone.
 
Good luck! Don't give up. You said it yourself, it will be a waste of time and money. I have never been brave enough to try heroin, but have used suboxone to come off of opiate pills. I'm not sure how successful people are with such a fast taper. I could never do it that way out of fear. If you feel like your not hanging on anymore, try dosing up a little more with the subs. Much better than H! Give yourself time to heal.
 
Im on the same boat! I just got some subs and was wondering how much to start with im new with subs! I am 32yrs old 200 pounds 5'5
And im trying ti kick H
 
Pls make sure you are really sick use COWS scale u can find online. The more sick u are the better it works take it too early and you will b in hell. I went through this twice but it doesn't work for me. Good luck!!
