Suboxone self detox

Hi. This is my situation. I cannot do into a detox but I need to detox off of heroin. My habit is close to a bundle a day. I weigh close to 270 LBS (just throwing in the body weight in case that might impact anyone's recommendations)

I have an ample supply of Suboxone 8's
My goal is to use them to detox and not go on a maintenance kind of regimen.
I just want to straight up detox start to finish.

What I want to know , if there is anyone who knows enough about this to help me, is from start to finish, what should be my dosages. How long after last heroin use should I start my first dose? How much should that initial dose be? How often do I take that dosage before eventually decreasing it, what should I decrease it to how long do I stay on that dosage level, and so on.....until it is time to finally discontinue the Suboxone and be totally detoxed.

I understand that there are plenty of factors and that no one answer is necessarily ideal for me but I wanted a basic idea how how long to be on each dosage before decreasing. Kinda a start to finish dosage schedule. And how long could I expect it to take from first dose to full cessation .

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
If youre using a bundle of heroin a day, youre going to need to help to detox.. you are not a doctor..
Do you have any Methadone/Suboxone treatment programs anywhere near you ?
Im telling you from experience... Just having a shitload of Sub 8's isnt going to help you get off heroin, you need help that you yourself cannot provide..
You need to get stabalized first on the lowest dose of suboxone needed to keep the kicks/wd away.
 
Say you stopped using dope monday night, Tuesday morn would be your first sub dose. it would be SMALL, 2MG, and then you'd have to wait n see how it works out.. dont just start off at 8mg of suboxone, cus u may not need that much, and to take more than u need is just digging yourself a deeper hole for when you want to come off of suboxone.
 
n i hate to say this, but if your at a bundle a day habit of heroin, i wouldnt even be looking for a "finish date" answer... this is going to take ALOT of time
 
ok thanks for taking the time to respond. What I was hoping for was a plan to gradually reduce the dosage so that I would finally take the last step which is to be totally off and no longer taking the suboxone.

I agree with you about the finish date thing and I and i am not pressing for time. I just kinda wanted a dosage regimen/schedule that somewhat matched what they would prescribe had I gone inpatient.

Once again any input would be greatly appreciated.
 
Sorry to bump this thread but is there anyone else maybe who might have some input/answers for me?
