Suboxone Question

Been finding mixed information reguarding this question, would like some opinions.

While doing Suboxone taper to detox off heroin, does the Suboxone allow the heroin to detox from your body in the 3 day's it normally would, then you just have to withdrawal off the Suboxone when you jump?

While heroin is leaving your system, the suboxone would take it's place. So it would be ideal to do the shortest taper possible to avoid getting dependent on subs.

Thank you, that is exactly what I thought, and I did a very short taper. Also at 10pm tonight, it will be 72 hours since my last dose of sub.
