Suboxone.. Question

I got really high taking 1mg of it and it wore off so i took another 1mg and i dont really feel anything. Does it not work after once until its out of your system?

From my experience in the past ( sub does nothing to me anymore, ever...except make me not sick ) I would take the initial dose of bupe and feel the wave of warmth and when i dosed again it wasn't even close to as good. I always chalked it up to because i'm already feeling good additional bupe doesn't have the same punch because you've already got it on your receptors. I bet if you took nothing for 48 hours you'd feel the dose then because you're going from nothing to something again.

what im asking is, i took the SUB and i got high on the buprenorphine i only took 1mg of it, is the nalaxone in it going to block the buprenorphine for 24 hours? is that why my 2nd dose didnt get me high, how long do i have to wait to take another 1mg to get high on the buprenorphine again? thanks so much

no, buperenorphine has a higher binding affinity for the opioid receptors than naloxone. The naloxone in suboxone is essentially useless, I always thought it was a tactic to scare users.

You can't tell me reckitt benester ( sp ? ) sceintists did not catch that little factoid.

And to feel the bupe again i would wait until what you have is gone or almost gone, 24 hours at least from the last dose you would probably get it..... 48 for sure.
