Bupe Suboxone put my dick to sleep.

Not to get off topic, but belfort what about ghb? Considering your usage of phenibut, I'd figured you would have at least tried it... I heard that it will increase both desire and ability?

Judging from the results you report you had the better /more revealing blood test done. Do you recall was it "free testosterone" or some other test? Trying to get the OP as much info to take to the doc with him. The other test had normal range limits of ~300- 800, I've been as low as the higher 100s, now I'm at 500+.

Nailed it. What this person said is dead on. 100% accurate.

Imagine being like this for YEARS! It's one of the main reasons I do steroids is because the damn suboxone always destroys my libido and ability to get hard ons. Luckily juice (steroids) and viagra and cialis are cheap. I love that third or fourth week after being on cycle (steroids) and my libido raging back. I'm not bragging, but I'll go from periods of not having sex for up to six months to a year while on bupe, then when I hop on steroids, I will have 5-6 fuck buddies within 2 weeks. Swear on my life. Plus, obviously, you look great while on steroids so it's much easier to get women.

Anyway, bupe is a destroyer of your libido and ability to get hard ons. The most disastrous part if coming off steroids while on bupe. It's akin to being in heroin withdrawal and shooting cocaine all night. Sure you'll feel great that night, but the next day you will be suicidal from the coke comedown WHILE in heroin withdrawal. Only did that once and it ranks up there as the top 3 worst things I have ever done or felt. Thank god I didn't have a gun then.

I'm at 4mg of Suboxone at the moment. I've recently got my testosterone levels tested and although they're in the lower range, it's not too low in theory. I'm sure buprenorphine does have a negative effect on testosterone but I now think it's not as pronounced as with full agonists. Also, be aware that many things may decrease your testosterone and while bupe may have a negative effect, it may not be the only factor. With the proper diet I think it's possible to sustain proper levels of testosterone while being on buprenorphine (the dose certainly may matter too). I don't really have money to test my testosterone levels regularly but I have no problem with my libido now, it's actually as high as it's never been before while I was on opioids. It's certainly hard to cum shortly after taking Suboxone but a few hours later it passes. I'm sure the stimuli are not as intense as they could be but honestly speaking it's much better than on plain full agonists and much much better than on methadone. I've been supplementing with zinc, magnesium, D3, and B vitamins. I considered taking testosterone after getting my blood test results as I also felt I lacked self-confidence but I don't really fancy that any more for now as I don't plan to stay on Suboxone forever. I seriously advise anyone having problems with libido to first check your D3 levels and try changing your diet, and wait to see if there are any effects. If anything really affects my libido negatively, it's actually depression.
 
Opiates and all things like them (bupe) tend to, AT FIRST, prolong your endurance in the bedroom. Seems like you just can't "feel" anything going on and it's hard to reach your climax.

BUT, after time and after daily usage, they tend to tell your little friend to just shut up, sit down, and never interrupt anyone, again.

Time off from the bupe will get you back to normal down there. Technically, usually takes just 1-2 days without, IME, to start getting random erections back, although that causes withdrawals at the same time.
 
Your lucky they didn't put you on methadone. I got straight on methadone at 17 & while im sure it would have affected my sex drive back then its nothing compared to now. Im basically a methamphetamine addict because that's the only thing that makes me horny and now that's ruining my life. I was on 100mg of methadone which is high but not too bad, im on 70mg now and can go down by 5mg per week but I find even that is too quick. I go down maybe once a month. Ive also been on Subutex & Suboxone before and I tell you now on bupe you almost feel normal compared to methadone. Im not trying to be all like "my life is so much worse, get over it" because I know how stressful it is and its us that stresses, our partners are usually supportive but because its continually hard it becomes hard not to somehow treat your partner unfairly so that's something you have to watch out for. I relapsed 6 weeks after getting clean from the suboxone and a few weeks after that I overdosed so badly that I should be dead, its really a miracle the times that ive OD'd and been found. This last time didn't involve benzos though so it was scary. But it made me realise I was rushing things and I needed to be on some kind of program or id be dead very soon. So I made the heartwrenching decision to get back on methadone. So now I very rarely see friends, as I said, I only really have sex on methamphetamine and im terrified ill never be able to change that, I have no motivation. But its meth and benzos that im abusing, not opiates so im off to rehab to get off methadone but also deal with the issues surrounding all the drugs.

So in retrospect, the steep jump from 16mg to settling at eight set off a spiral of anxiety and depression that what was really killing my cock.

I'm feeling better now at 8mg and everyday I get a little bit of libido back. I jumped like this 16mg for a month..then, in days, 0,2,2..by this point i was feeling great..then i woke up feeling a huge anxiety attack..so i started doing 4mg a day..it got worse..bumped up to 8 a day, and id say two days ago was the first day I felt normal..got a rager watching some porn! So the depression was compounding it bad.

Also, mega doses of Horny Goat Weed, plus healthfood, plus serious strength training all seem to be helping alot..Prob will get a script for cialis when I get back..Its gonna be over the counter in 2017!

Its almost like bupe WD's start mentally long before physically..It's like coming of Prozac or Zoloft emotion wise only way worse..

The Horny Goat Weed seems to be my temporary saviour..It gives you a solid three hour window in which you actually view women sexually and want to fuck them, and get a raging hardon. Requires about 5x the reccommended dose of the standard shit however. For instance, today I totally feel like I could fuck the gf.

I'm gonna run a little experiment..I'm going on vaycay with her for 12 long days this coming week..I'm gonna hit the gym super hard the next five days..Im not gonna drink at all..And then while on vacation, I'm gonna take Horny Goat Weed 3x per day, 2grams per dose..Also gonna stay at 8mg bupe..taper down somemore next month.

I know this is an old post but I was wondering if you were able to fix your problem? My husband has been on sub a little over a year now and we have had sex 1 time!!! Sorry a little frustrating to me lol I'm not sure if this is the problem or not! I was thinking he was cheating until I looked this up online. After reading ones guys post I'm not sure! He stated that things may not work but other things do which is very true! He takes 16 mg per day and he has no desire at all! Any help is much appreciated!

Opiates destroyed my sex drive and ability..I remember being on methadone or heroinand I had no desire to have sex...just zero interest..what did help boost my sex drive temporarily was ephedrine

What sucks is even after getting clean my drive is still gone, my test levels are low..don't forget that going on testosterone replacement therapy is a life sentence type thing..u don't just take it for 4 weeks and stop..

Opiates absolutely destroy my sex drive from sex addict to zero. I wonder if when you were induced at a high dose on bupe, you were in some minor withdrawal from using a full agonist opiate, and that was what kicked up your sex drive? Bc, what I've been experiencing and puzzled by is that when in the smallest amount of withdrawal from taking .25 mg of Suboxone when high as a kite from street drugs, I end up having insane sexual thought and experiences (with myself) that are unwanted and really different from my usual complete lack of sex interest while on opiates.

I hope you can find a solution and just wish you the best. (And, new here, I realize I'm talking to 15 year ago posts, hehe.)
