Whats up everyone. It has been one hell of a month thats all I can say. When i get more energy n get outta this terrible nightmare I will def post on my experiences because I have been through/learned alot about opiate withdrawl etc.

I was on suboxone for 2 yrs which i kno is very long, my doc said no withdrawals will occur afterwards, nicee. So i was off em for a week and ended up taking a half of an 8 mg. THen I was clean for another few days and took kratom, which all just went to prolong things, n didnt make me feel too much better. Then another week later I took like 5 perc 30s, another week later took 3 perc 30s. I KNOW I AM AN IDIOT BTW. SUb withdrawal is so long and tedious that I Just kept losin it but I am done now for good. Last night was the last dose but i Have been THROUGH ALOT of withdrawal, like agood week before this last time using.

Will i withdrawal again and for how long do you guys think? ANd when does this miserable suboxone let u go for good n wake up feeling great????

I would really appreciate many replies from people who know and can shed some light cuz im startin to lose hope now after 5 weeks of withdrawaling.

MODs plz move if not best place for this thread??

Subs are not a cure all. They are usually used to "ween" off and produce different results.I live by the motto that the mind makes things worse. When I was a teenager I followed some older newfound "friends" for 6months.Not knowing about herion withdrawl I eventually landed in jail and had no "withdrawl" with everyday use of waxbags.
More recently I had to "withdrawl"off of oxymophone and it took forever to feel better becuase I could only think about how bad I was going to feel.
If your out of suboxone there are free clinics all over the USA.google free methodone clinic "your city/state" or neti or meti project. Most will require you be "addicted to herion for atleast 1yr" and all will require you to be 18.That is if you want a Dr's help.goodluck!

Subs

Thanks for the reply! I am actually not looking for anymore suboxone, i am trying to get off of everything altogether. My question was is if i withdrawld alrdy for weeks and weeks with little "prolongings" in between like kratom tea and perc 30s twice, one of which last night so im worried i will start over so to speak or how does this work??

Anyone with any help would b greatly appreciated.

yeah subs and methadone both can have withdraw symptoms that last 1-2 months for most people, followed by a period of PAWs.

And I take methadone and subs every once in awhile to help with w/ds only, not a maintenance. So hopefully someone with some more experience can chime in but with doing opiates while going through w'ds always extends them.
Like if I" am going though my normal oxy w/ds and I take a small amount of hydrocodone or something to make them less intense it makes them last around 6-10 days, instead of my normal 5-6 days of w/ds

do you mean "start all over" with your WD'S just from a few 30s? i dont think soooo. Ive done that more times than i can count. you wont go into WD's again just from a few pills but in my case i just started thinking about them again and my cravings came back.

Sorry if i got you wrong but do you recomend him to join a methadone program to kick Suboxone?

My experience with Bupe is that its the post acute wd's that are though, you are able to somewhat sleep and eat but mentally you feel like shit. It takes a long time before those wd's goes away. (as with ALL opioids)

As compassionate as the employees at drug treatment centers are - the fact remains that they're in place to make money off us addicts. Yeah, the doctor that prescribed suboxone to me said the withdrawl is easy, 'not a big deal'. He didn't even ask how much heroin i was taking and gave me 2 8mg pills a day, which was about 5 times more than i needed. they are trying to get you to buy suboxone for the rest of your life.

The withdrawl is awful.. it takes ~5 days for it to even begin after you stop taking it, then the kick lasts about three weeks minimum.

If you like weed thats what i recommend. a lot of weed. and emotional support. comfort food. good luck.

^ i must have something wrong with me, i was on subs for 4 years.. the first 2 16mg/day and last 2years was on 1-2mg/day for the most part..
well i stopped 3 weeks ago today (Friday) the first week was hell like with usual opiate w/ds and the only lingering w/d effects that i have had since week 1 is leg pain and the feeling i need to run 100miles (which is normal) but everyone always said how bad sub w/d's are and i took it seriously, but now that i have been through them i think it is hilarious how someone could call that "bad w/d's" i CT'd 120mg methadone- now that was some "bad w/d's"..
i guess everyone reacts differently, but no one should be on subs for the sole reason that they are afraid of the w/d's, trust me.. you will live.
OR maybe i'm just weird..
goodluck on getting and staying clean.
