OK guys, so here's my dilemma. I was on methadone program for over 4yrs and was finally able to get off and very surprisingly using lopes literally WD free! Yes! off 4yrs of methadone from 120mg and taperered down to 20mg than waited 24hours and went straight to lope. Zero WD!
My dumb boring junkie arse obviously didn't learn my lesson and decided to go all out about 2month after I was finally clean off everything. Started doing the usual oxy (thanks doc) and H here and there but for the last few days for some odd reason I decided to want to try to IV H. So I did. Truthfully, I didn't like it. I felt disgusted at my self and other than the initial rush from IV it felt no different than snorting a few lines of good raw H.
So after few days of IV something came over me and made me question myself, WTF are you doing!? You have kids, a job, a life and do I really want to go down this road again after coming off 4yrs of grueling methadone program!? I told myself FHUCK NO! I broke all my needles, trashed all my pills, and flushed all my H. went to my local street pharm and grabbed five 8mg suboxone. Going back to methadone was no option. Never ever again!
This is the problem. I started taking 2mg at a time since 3am two days ago and had high hopes that low dose should do. WRONG! I got up to taking 20mg total over two days and I am not feeling good. Stomach is hurting and burning, can't sleep at night, and WD keep coming back about 3 hours later after I dose with 2mg to 4mg. Not unmanageable WD symptoms but definitely not what I was expecting.
So, remember I told you I couldn't believe how well lopes worked helping me with methadone WD? Well..minus the constipation. I'm thinking about ditching suboxone and take about 30mg of lopes but...the problem is this, I have subs in my system now but for whatever reason it is not holding me. I don't know what is the major difference between methadone and suboxone but I was able to take lopes while methadone still in my system(4yrs worth of it) and was able to get off methadone WD free. Can I do the same with suboxone? Its only been 2 days since I started taking them but still, they are now in my system. What do you guys think? Could lopes at this moment work the same way as it have when I was on methadone? Thanks for reading!
