Bupe Suboxone not really working

Hippiechild please keep your personal vendetta with suboxone from clouding your judgement before posting, listen to the OP and work with them. You aren't the #1 authority on suboxone.

All I know is that 4mg of subutex is a miricle drug for me and I didn't even have a steady dope habit. I am loving life since I've been talking 4mg suboxone, then switched to subutex (why complicate things with the naloxone or whatever it's called if you don't need to?) I think most or at least many countires besides the usa use subutex as the replacement therapy and not suboxone. usa dea douchbage push the suboxone b/c of the naloxone in it. If you need that, and that helps you, I'm all for it. But I find the subutex works just as well, tastes less horrible, and provides the same benefits without the potential complications should I want to use dope on occasion. Now I don't need to time it out or anything. And the dope cravings are gone. The first 3 weeks I def needed the suboxone 1st thing in the morning to make me win the mental battle of 'go with suboxone or go with dope'??? Now that's a non issue for me and subutex is helping produce miricles in my life for me. I can't praise it highly enough, at least for my particular situation and my particular needs.

Sorry if I can't be more helpful in addressing the OP's particular concern(s). I know very little about these drugs other than they work great for me at the dose I'm using. I did start out at 8 and went down to 4 b/c I was hearing a lot of ppl get by on 1/2 of their suboxone pill. So I tried that and it worked. And stuck with that when I switched to subutex. If it stop working for me, it stops working for me. I'll cross that bridge if and when I come to it but the cost and access is a non issue for me. Cost of suboxone was a minor issue as I was buying it on the street but much less of a cost issue than dope was, which is why I switched in the first place.

And I actually did a gram of dope yesterday and had a worse day (or night, the day was good) than my typical day on subutex. I used the dope compulsively in the pm wheras I have no such compulsion to use subutex that way so remain more functional and stable on the subutex. Nodding and sleeping in whacky ass positons due to passing out on dope leaves me with bad stiff necks, etc....

Good luck to you OP. Hope you find the answers your searching for.

Lol! Who said .8mg is was enough? I don't recollect anyone saying any such thing. Thanks for the education :\

So, according to your logic for induction, you suggest someone start off taking 24mg? (rhetorical question)

yeah .8 thats exactly what i meant..

really?

For induction people can take up to 24mg easily..

I recommend 4mg every 4 hours until withdrawal symptoms are diminished..up to 24mg in a 24 hour period

It all depends on your habit.. Some people only need 2 some 4 some 24 the first day

after the acute withdrawal is over the dosage can be lowered tremendously

Yea, you post good advice here. I'm just curious, why the 0.8mg comment? Like, were did that come from. I guess it doesn't really matter, just trying to wrap my head around that earlier post.

for induction purposes MORE IS MORE always....

There is a difference, btw, a rather big difference, between saying someone can take 24mg for induction, and say someone should always take 24mg for induction... Different strokes for different folks kinda thing. This is a patient by patient basis, depending on body chemistry, their habit, etc. etc.

Dude that was a typo.. LOL

Ofcourse i meant 8mg

Ah, well, now I know. Although, as you can imagine, the different between .8mg and 8mg of suboxone is pretty huge. But now that's cleared up so no worries (although it would be cool if you edit the original post of your so someone reading it doesn't get the wrong idea if that's all they see. Just a thought).
