suboxone not really doing anything?

i swallow all of it...aren't you supposed to? and i'm withdrawaling pretty badly...but i think i just figured out why....wow i'm retaRded and thank you for telling me this

From what I read on the sub website, you're supposed to put it under your tongue...start out w/the smallest dose n go up...........and drink lots of water (tip from a friend, worked for me tho) from what I've read it doesn't work if you just swallow it. Best of luck! I'm going to be taking my break soon using subs!!

hello. I have a IV heroin habit of about .5-1.0g a day. my last shot was around 6pm yesturday. i have been patiently waiting to take my suboxone...got pretty fed up so i took 2mg sublingually about 2 hours ago. took another 2mg about 30 minutes ago. after the first 2mg, i didn't get worse or better, i stayed the same. after the other 2mg i feel the same too. i'm thinking of railing another 2mg.

note, ive takin suboxone to get through withdrawals before and it has worked...perfectly.

also, I tried railing it and it put me into wd's fast n hard, had to rail n oxy to stop it..........never again will I do that!! Plus it tastes like crapola to me

so theres no hope...i'm out of town for 2 more days....i have an unlimited amount of sub left and it wont work...well maybe it will tmw but ive waited like 26 hours....goddd im buying methadone next time..

I'd wait a while, I should start to work at some time, if it doesn't work by tomorrow try taking only 1/4 of the pill the correct way ;0) and see how you feel in about an hr...if that hasn't helped much take another 1/4...but give it time, it will work just don't take too much so you don't waste it. Hope you feel better soon...

I never realised less is better, otherwise I would have split them into quarters. Just hang in there and I know if you keep it under your tongue as directed you will get through this. The trouble is, you initially took suboxone a bit too soon which made the withdrawal so much worse. It's recommended that you wait at least 36 hours after your last dose of opiates. That's what my doctor said anyway...

Hours mean NOTHING when it comes to starting sub. The type of opiate last used, tolerance, mindset and how you feeling are what matters. I've waited 36 hrs+ after using OC and the sub didn't help. Another time I took it 5 hours after using oxy ir's and it worked great. Sounds like the OP didn't take enough to overide the precpitated wds. I know when you induct too soon, the best thing you can do is to continue taking it up to the max dose. I'm not sure if I can post the link to the bup website that states that.Anyhow,unless your coming off of mdone, in which case no amount will help if you start too soon.

this questions for james brown......is iving bupe in low (1-2mg) doses the tricks? i can iv 24 and feel NOTHING....ive already done 3 shots of 4mg today and cant waste anymore but if 1 or 2 mg will get me high id love to ...please let me no asap
