I just acquired a bottle of Norco I found lying around so decided I wanted to get high for a few days. The thing is, I've been on Suboxone Maintenance for a couple years (the last 6 months on 2mg) so I know that you have to go x hours before the effects of other opiates to work.
So its been a little over 48 hours and I'm still not feeling anything from the Norco. I only took 40mg (Hydrocodone) just to test it out without wasting too many of them. My question is this: Is it possible that I may have to wait another 24 hours or so before I can experience the effects again since I've been on the Suboxone for 2 years, or may it be due to tolerance and just need a higher dose of Hydrocodone. (I've only been on *2mg* Buprenorphine the last 6 months). Any personal experience or educated answers would be appreciated.
Oh, and yes...I know this is a RELAPSE. This is the first time in 2.5 years since I abused any opiate. I don't need comments about how I should stop trying to get high. Once the bottle is gone, I'm back on the Suboxone.
