Suboxone kidney stone help

My worst fear . Pretty sure I have a kidney stone blockage. Having trouble and pain peeing . I have had stones before just not on suboxone. I have only been on this drug about a month , what are they gonna do for pain if I end up in the ER ? Should I take less suboxone incase this starts getting bad ? Right now just drinking as much water as possible and hoping this is not happening. If I stop taking the suboxone for a couple days would I notice I am on about 6 mg daily divided in 3 doses ? I need to get off this drug anyway its not really helping. I have a ton of anxiety about messing up my teeth.

Get some lemon juice in you. Drink some daily and try avoid swishing it in your mouth as it's bad for teeth
 
Thanks ,I take prescription Potassium Citrate every day that my nephrotologist percribed, it comes in a big pill and does the same thing as lemon juice. So far the pain isn't too bad ,maybe the suboxone is handling it . Though I am also freaking about my teeth getting sensitive while being on subs such a short time. Every time I put the subs in my mouth I get worsening anxiety . I wish there was a different way to take these .
 
Hey @maryanne77 what kind of relationship do you have with the people who would treat you for this? Do you feel you have a doctor whom you can trust is looking out for you regardless of your past or are you really not sure? I´ve seen it go both ways entirely based on morality. I´ve seen docs prescribe the necessary amount of, probably Fentanyl or Hydromorphone to break through and treat their pain. I´ve known people who have gone in for open heart surgery (yes) and were given 15 percocet 5mg´s and told to fuck off because of his history.

You should not need to do anything with your Buprenorphine. It is medically possible to break through, you just need to have an honest rapport with your doctor and frankly, a lot of them are self-obssessed assholes who look down on us all.

Lowering your Buprenorphine dosage to below 2mg Buprenorphine per day would put you into that sub-2mg sweetspot at which the MOR is targeted more directly than the other Opioid receptors. The MOR is essentially responsible for everything that defines Opioids as drugs in our common knowledge, sedation, euphoria, analgesia etc.

Supplement with other pain-reducing sustances that have worked for your previously while doing this perhaps. This could be Gabapentin, Pregabalin, Cannabis etc.

Could you give more information about your situation?
 
Not much of a relationship at all since I haven't been on the subs long and this is a brand new doc. I probably shouldn't have started. I heard they have antidepressants effects and work for pain for some people . I was desperate after my real doctor took me off my pain meds. Its a long story , I should probably pm you. This new doc put me on a very high starting dose 8mg twice a day which seemed to help for depression but not pain management. I heard lower doses were better for pain so I immediately tried to go down and cut it in half after my first week . I have been on less than 2 month's having bad hot flashes which I never have normally. My teeth feel very sensitive .Now having this urinary retention and extra pain which i thought could maybe be a stone since i am a stone maker . How hard will it be to get off this med?
 
Never had stones. On it 12 years straight.
