I recently got clean August 25th this year off of oxycodone (minimum of 500mg daily) and stayed clean until November 10th. My DOC is/was oxycodone. I've relapsed a few times now and have only done a max of 45mg of oxycodone in one sitting. My last dose of oxycodone was November 16 @ 9:00pm EST which was 30mg.


It is now November 17 @ 5:00pm EST

Question: When is the safest time to be induced to Suboxone?

Please do not give me a 'recovery' or 'rehab' answer, thank you.
 
This has been discussed a lot... it varies for everyone. The general consensus is about 24 hours and/or when you're fully in withdrawal. Many feel when you are not dependent on a full agonist (like oxy) that you don't have to wait that long and can start the suboxone earlier, you're almost at 24 hours already, if you can I'd just wait a couple hours to be safe.

You could've searched around and found the answers I gave above and A LOT more. Please search before starting a new thread and direct suboxone discussion to the current suboxone mega thread which is almost always on the front page. PM me if you have any questions.
