suboxone for relief from withdrawal

After you have been bendering on opiates hard, and then you go 24 hours from taking your last dose. What is a good starting dose for someone with like a 40-50mg intranasal hydromorphone.
Is so, do you snort the suboxone, or just sublinguall? Also how long before you start getting relief from withdrawal symptoms? :\

start low and work out the mininmum that will hold you. the equivilent dose of 40mg hydromorphone is about 8mg bupe.
i would start with 2mg and add 1mg until you find a dose that holds you

snorting has slightly higher bioavailability than sublingal
 
Are you looking to start a proper suboxone maintenance or tapering regime? If so this thread might do better in OD, we can move it for you (although I'm off to work now...) :) Or are you just wanting to take a few after an opiate binge?
 
Well I only have 7 2mg tablets of Suboxone. I've taken it before about 12 or 13 hours later after last dose of hydromorphone but I don't think I waited long enough. Like I am wondering if you can get relief right away from opiate withdrawal symptoms with Suboxone? If so, what dose should I start with a tolerance of about 40-50mg Hydromorphone (Instranasal) + about 40-60mg of Oxycodone.
And if Suboxone will relieve withdrawal symptoms pretty quick or how long it roughly takes?
 
If you're in withdrawals, Suboxone (buprenorphine) will provide you relief almost instantly. I would have waited a solid 24 hours even though hydromorphone is pretty short-acting.

Buprenorphine has a pretty long half life, depending on your tolerance and how much you take, it should last 12-24 hours, sometimes less if you have a decent tolerance. Most people administer it once per day, if you're doing maintenance, if you just use it once or you do a rapid taper, you can probably skip days. 1mg snorted is about equal to 30mg oxycodone, so you'll need 2-3mg considering. Did you snort the hydromorphone and oxycodone at the same time?
