Bupe Suboxone Film Bupe Distribution

I've read many times that bupe is not equally distributed among the area of a Suboxone strip.

Couldn't find any answer to the following question:

Is there any way to tell where the bupe is concentrated in a film?
I've noticed that if you hold a film to a light there seems to be a darker area in the middle. Could that be bupe/naloxone, or a lack thereof?

The reason I ask is for tapering, if I take 1/8 of a strip or so, I'd like to have the pieces contain an equal amount of the drug. Also a few other reasons.

I've heard of many people cutting the film and having no problem, and I have also done so but I'm still not sure just how uniform the film is.

Is the non-equal distribution so close to an equal distribution that it really isn't noticeable?

Anyone who knows, I will be very glad to hear an answer.

Everything I read about these strips (never had them myself) in this regard is that cutting them in equal pieces to taper works. So this would mean the Bupe is distributed evenly.
It would not make sense otherwise because if the people using them want to taper, they would be forced to switch to another preparation.

I have never read or heard something about your assumption.

But it would be nice to hear from someone who actually split these. There is a thread on drugsforum though...

I heard from a doctor that it is not evenly distributed, as well as heard a few friends say so (no idea where they got that information)

Also it says "Do not cut" on the film packaging. The most sensible reason I can think of for that is non-equal distribution.

But I would love to know from someone who knows for sure.

I have never questioned this until reading your thread.
Now that I think about it, I am also very curious as to whether or not the Bupe is evenly distributed throughout the film.
Hopefully someone reputable will tune in on this thread with some facts.

It may not be 100 percent evenly distributed on the film but it's distributed good enough that it is not going to matter very much unless we are talking about extremely small doses and pieces of strip. If your dose is above .5mg it will make zero differance in how you feel IMO.

I have taken 1/8 of a strip for the past year. I cut it into 8 tiny pieces evenly... Yes it is distributed evenly, or else I'd be able to tell.
