Misc suboxone, cocaine and opiate questionn

Hey guys. I've been off of heroin for almost 7 weeks now and all of 7 weeks i have been taking 8 mg Suboxone pills everyday. I wanna have a little weekend bash so i have a question. i plan on doin a little under a gram of coke and for a come down i want to use Opana 30mg ER that my friend has. Since Suboxone blocks opiates out of the mu receptors, how long do you think it'll take for me to be able to take the opana by snorting it without the suboxone stopping the effects?

i dont think you worded that like you meant to.

Did you mean, how long would you have to be off of suboxone for you to feel a 30mg opana?

if thats your question, i would say atleast 2-3 days. But probably more given your high 8mg daily dose. good luck
 
ya about two to three days. you could probably pull it off on the second day.
 
I reccommend getting your hands on some benzos to help with the cocaine comedown. I find that they work better than opiates do, even though opiates cause actual euphoria...benzos are best at calming you down, and knocking you the fuck out if you choose to. And being unconcious is a good way to "deal with" the coke comedown.
 
yes Jamesbrown that is exactly what i meant. im just not sure if i could pull it off by going 2 full days with no suboxone and being all achy and sick. i mean he has an endless supply of the Opanas and im sure i can get rid of the time release by "sucking" off the coating. so im thinking i can break through the Suboxone if i do it on the second day. Unless of course this may not be possible?
 
Benzos get me really heavy feeling, my heart is still going and i still feel uneasy from the coke. Im not a fan of benzos in general and especially with coke. Ive found opiates to have the best results for it. It gives euphoria, slower heart rhythm and calmness to me. It truly is a "Painkiller" to which i describe the coke come down as pain.
 
everyone is different so if you prefer opiates to benzos in this situation then thats fine, i certainly wouldnt say thats a bad choice at all.
but as far as if you are gonna be able to "break through" your suboxone, i doubt it will work very good at all in helping you with your coke comedown. If you feel it, it will probably be very minimal(almost placebo like) and if you are coming down from coke, you probably wont be able to notice any of the minimal effects of the opana.
Of course, like I said, everyone is different so it may work for you, im just giving you my advice and guessing that it isnt gonna work. But I hope it does. good luck man. let us know how it goes.
 
thank for the heads up! so pretty much im screwed and am gonna have to deal with the come down? :/ pretty much feeling my heart pound, geeked and uncomfortable and such even after doin the opana! blah haha that def sucks! i figured i could just stop the suboxone for a day and a half and id be set haha
 
well, i would try stabilizing yourself on a low dose of suboxone. somehting under 2 mg's. that way you would never have to wait more than a few hours to dose a full agonist. I take 0.5mg doses and they give me euphoria, energy, and act as an anti-depressant. I highly reccommend it.

OP, I think by later on in day two you should be able to feel the Opana, you probably wont be able to get full effects from it, but you should definately be able to tell its there.
 
agonist meaning the Opana correct? Honestly i dont know why the doctor insists on the full 8 mg pill. before i got a script i was buying it on the street and settled to as little as a quarter of a pill a day to make it last and even that did fine for me. What you described it giving you is exactly why im feeling now from the full 8 but if i start tapering down now i could potentially make it in time for my little bash which im planning in a week and a half
