Ive been reading up on Norspan, stuff leaves a scar anywhere the patch is administered.
Sounds like whatever they use to get the bupe in transdermally is bad news. They said it's 5 micrograms per hour for a 7 day patch, but I'm not sure if that was for the 5 or 10mg patch. Comparing it to morphine, it's a lot like fentynal, VERY powerful per mg. So it looks like a 10mg patch is looking like in the thousands of mg compared to morphine. A microgram is 1000th of a miligram.

wow thanks for the quick reply, Im only on first patch so cant say about the scar I will report in when i pull it off in 7 days.I was on 45-70mg Morphine habit a day with odd Oxycodone (10mg) for break thru pain every now and again for last 10 years (no days off opiates).so far the 10mg patch is holding me im even getting a slight glow after 2 hours.I will keep in touch to let ppls know how its working out.

Great to hear it's working for you! well 45-70mg morph is actually pretty low, which is good...I used to take about 120+ a day. Bupe works so much different than morphine, as it has a MUCH longer half life ( probably 4 times as long as morphine ). So if you took as much equiv bupe to morph you would get twice as much duration if not more out of the bupe. Bupe is alot more bang for the buck, and it's ( they say ) not quite as abusive prone as the other opiates. Which is actually true, because at certain doses bupe doesn't actually work like other pain killers, you cant just get high 30 times in one day.. apparently it has a certain threshold and stops. I'll have to read up more on it, but that is what I have gathered so far, and from my experience of taking bupe myself. In my opinion Bupe is a self regulatory drug in that aspect, it's a miracle drug.

Does suboxone make you feel good as in a nice 'glow' sota like o full opioids do?

They seem to geek me up like adderall kinda, without the jitterness and all other side effects just the 'cant sleep' side effect. i mean im totally relaxed and content but i just lay there in bed and cant sleep and end up watching TV (while laying in bed) until 6am - 7am (and on several occasions i've pulled an all nighter where i didnt sleep it all, sometimes going on 36-48hrs with no sleep. I am not in w/d's, i feel completely comfortable so i knwo my dose is good but i swear for the first week or two suboxone causes the worst insomnia for me anyways..anyone else get insomnia from subs? (no i dont always take em at night)
and i know my dose ain't too high either. right now its (0.5-1.5mgs average a day)

the only thing that can get me to sleep is when i have some green. WHICH IS A LIFESAVER FOR INSOMNIA, i also love it in the morning and afternoons, but favorite at night. and also get a few Xanax's every once in a blue moon, and those work ight for sleep. but bud gives me deepest most content sleep, of course besides strong opiates/opioids : }

Yea I have the same problem but I take A LOT more than you do... However, I have 2mg Xanax to take at night.... I only take 1mg but it definitely puts me to sleep... so I don't plan on upping the dosage (thanks to Capt.Herion)... But I just wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one who has this problem...

^how long has it been since you took the 2mg of bupe?? most likely the bupe will block most of the dope and you won't feel much. i would wait it out. also, i personally wouldn't buy dope that i know is laced with fentanyl. its dangerous and you don't even know the exact dose your doing. and just because you have been doing it the past 2 days does NOT make it safe!

also, dp, you have been here for a while now yet you ask a basic question like this that noobs ask all the time? i've seen this question asked at least several hundred times, you could have searched through this forum or used the search engine and found the answer very easily.

Get the bag of dope, and wait 2 or 3 days until you want to do it. That way, your tolerance can drop a little, and you won't get back on heroin as quickly as you did the first time.

There's a reason you're on suboxone in the first place, and doing heroin as soon as you can after suboxone isn't the best idea.

It's not horribly wrong or anything, but it's not setting yourself up for getting over heroin addiction.

also, i personally wouldn't buy dope that i know is laced with fentanyl. its dangerous and you don't even know the exact dose your doing. and just because you have been doing it the past 2 days does NOT make it safe!

It does if you know it's the same batch, and it's safe if you always start out small to test for purity.

It's not safe to prepare a normal multiple bag shot upon getting a new batch without trying a tiny bit first.

If you can't wait and have to get high that bad, you're risking your life. Plain and simple.

I've gotten bags in the same bundle that have been quite varied in quality.

With such a small amount of fentanyl being the difference between fucked up and ODing, it seems pretty risky, but DP knows more about the bags he's getting than I do. It seems like it would always be wise to use caution with illicit fentanyl though.


Same with heroin even. Sometimes I forget how dangerous this could be when I get some really good gear.

Now i have another question....i read somewhere that cimitidine is a good potentiater( can't spell it correctly) anyway it helps to make my Zonor0.216mg pills last longer and the euphria stronger...is it true?? or anyone else with experience with this, could u please help me out here as my Zonor 0.216mgx1 pill is very hard to come by and it cost about 8Euro per pill so if i could make use of this cimetidine to make it last longer with a higher euphoria then it's great cost saver

I always got gram bags, didn't fuck with singles, unless I was trying to go easy (instead of all out) on the stuff.

But yeah, I've gotten bags that varied in potency. I understand how that is.

I don't know of much to get the high better, other than possibly taking doxylamine succinate, diphenhydramine hcl, taking other drugs (marijuana, psychedelics, euphorants), etc. I haven't heard of cimitidine...sorry.

i love using bupe for a fairly painless detox...i was banging about a half g a day for a month or two straight and had to stop. I get one sub from a friend. On day one of quitting (about 15 hours after last use) when the teary eyes and shit get to be really annoying i eat 4 mgs. Then I take the other half 2 days after the first half. Barely any discomfort besides a little insomnia. yeah it might not be good for long term quitting but its a great way to get through the worst of it.

So the first 3 weeks or so on sub went GREAT, I was feeling good and staying clean... But I used to use opiates to enhance EVERY single thing I did in life for like 5 years and now I am noticing that since I've been off I am just BORED with life in general, I don't get much pleasure out of anything anymore and it sucks b/c I don't want to slip and go back to my old ways....

Anyone else have this problem? Just bored with day to day life without opiates?? it's really an awful feeling and I was just hoping someone had some insight on this... like maybe it's normal and this stage will pass and I will start feeling good again....

Its been two weeks since i jumped off 4mgs bupe (down from 16mgs after a 2yr dope habit) but its never been my intention to stay entirely clean, just wanted to kick the daily habit and still occasionally use.

I know its playing with fire but how long should i wait to be able to use H again without resetting my WD. Like im feeling alright now, still not sleeping for shit, but I just got an offer for the weekend thats hard to refuse.

If i use will i reset the withdrawal or should i be alright (physically anyway), Im feeling alright as i said, still not great, and am just a lil unsure of stuff bout bupes long half life?

To know for sure that you won't bring back any WD symptoms, and considering how long bupe hangs around, I would wait no less than two weeks after my last dose of bupe, and I'd make sure I felt fine (was sleeping).
Then again, no matter how good the offer, I wouldn't use heroin again if I finally had gotten clean after a two year habit.

..Here's what I found that works friggin' perfect for me, at night: clonidine. It only takes one pill, and the smallest dose(.1mg) so that you don't have to deal
with any "hangover/foggy" effects the next morning. It also works wonders for anxiety, startle disease, etc. And, it's non-narcotic!! Sleep like a baby!!

Nice to hear of others doing well in similar situations, I have had 120mg doses but i would only do it for a few days then go back to 60mg so wouldn't blow my tolerance out.My worry was not having 1 day off in 10 years, last night was 2nd night on bupe patch and had a restless sleep (wriggles ect) got mild hot/cold chills but no diarrhea or vomiting so that's a major bonus as thats the part i cant handle the most.So its day 3 and absolutely amazed at how well its working im considering taking a 2nd patch if symptoms keep getting worse but at the moment a xanax would prob be enough. keep ya posted

howdy mates and esp to you Capt H,

I know this may sound stupid but i am trying to maximise my generic bupre Zonor1x0.216mg pills made in pakistan and as it's really i mean really hard to come by and it cost 8euro per 0.216mg pill( that's why i'm looking up on the potentiatier can;t spell it properly) problem is i don't quite understand what is a Inhibitors, inducers or Substrates??????? could someone please help explain to me if i'm doing bupre(which i assume is the substrates) than to make it stronger or last longer, should i take inducers or inhibitators???

please help anyone and thanks heaps in advance.
