Bupe suboxone + benzos

hey there. I've searched for this topic but can't find any specific information for this combination. I only get answers like "it feels good" and just very general answers.

I've been using heroin for a few months now and my tolerance rose drastically. I have 2 8mg sub film strips that I got off the street and plan to use them after tomorrow when I run out of heroin (trying to quit for good). I have access to benzos so I'm wondering if I should take them while on subs. I'm very experienced with benzos and opiates so it shouldn't be a problem in terms of harm/addiction; I'm very familiar with benzos + other opiates, but I've never even tried suboxone before.

Now I know methadone and benzos have this great synergy, never tried methadone before but I've heard that this combination feels like heroin. Do subs and benzos (specifically xanax/valium) have a good synergy? or is it just like any other opiate + benzo?
 
Yeah they have a food synergy, but yu should first see how the suboxone effects you, and it takes about an hur to an hour and a ha to kick in. Suboxone and benzo's is better than heroin and benzo's IMO
 
A have a word of advice: Try to titrate your sub dose. It's likely you don't need an entire 8 mg strip to stave off the sickness. They will last you a lot longer if you only use as much as you need. :)
 
It is like any other opiate plus benzos. The same risks apply. Yes, it can be a euphoric combination for sure...but it can also be a dangerous one.
 
Wow, no one has even mentioned the most important thing here:
You're going to want to wait AT LEAST 24 (more like 36 imo) hours before ingesting the bupe, after your last heroin dose. If you don't do this, the bupe will throw you into even worse withdrawals than just riding it out.

The suboxone/benzo combo used to make me extremely tired, and that was with taking both as prescribed, so be weary of that side effect.
 
Yep, it's a decent (ranges from 'okay' to 'great', depending on the person - obviously). As mentioned, definitely wait as long as you can before taking the suboxone to prevent precipitated w/ds. That would SUCK ball sac.

Be careful w/ mixing any substances (a downer and a downer can be tough on the system, slowing you down TOO much) so keep use of each in moderation. Whatever you'd normally take, take a little less. For suboxone, a little goes a long way (less is more, really). For the benzos? Take a little bit (I don't know what your typical dose is when you take them alone, but take less than usual, wait a bit... see how you feel, and you can always dose more later on.
 
I am prescribed 4mg of xanax and 4mg of klonopin a day along with 90mg of adderall a day, Tramadaol 50mg's, and I take suboxone at low doses. I would say I feel flippin' great and to do yourself a search on anything you ingest and be safe. :)

I know this is a bit off topic, but I suggest trying to lower those benzo doses if possible. Individually they are on the high side, so combined they are really high, and the longer you stay on those doses, the harder it will be to come off of them.

That's really a truckload of drugs to take daily, don't you think? Do you have a plan for coming off of these drugs one day? This is certainly not sustainable and I don't see any good that could come of this...
 
Yeah last year around this time I was taking around eight mg of Xanax a day and one mg of klonopin. It's so easy get hooked on bars cause they're relatively cheap, but the tolerance skyrockets, and if your buying off the street like I was, it's a nasty day when you're connection falls through.

Oh yeah to the op, just a word of precaution, there are few cases of buprenorphine overdoses, but in each of those cases I believe the individuals ingested bupe and benzo's, specifically temazepam. The likeliness of this happening is low, but just to be on the safe side, I would really wait and see how the bupe treats you first before resorting to the benzo's. They might be better used for when youre tapering off the suboxone, cause that's more likely when you would run into sleep issues.
 
Guys that are concerned about my well being... Yes I am only on these benzo's because of a rough divorce I am going through. I plan to taper as soon as my divorce is finalized. I am a U.S Vet, JFK SOC Special Operations Command, Psychological Operations Specialists... Docs are very kind to me, I do not abuse my prescriptions what-so-ever. There have been a number of reported deaths where people have used Suboxone/Subutex in combination with benzodiazepines. Flumanzepil is a "reversal" benzos but has limited efficacy at best. Because of buprenorphine's high affinity for the opiate receptop, typical does of naloxone may not be sufficient and mechanical ventilation may be required.
 
I enjoy this combination personally. Lower dosages of bupe cause me stimulation which can lead to anxiety, therefore benzos are necessary. My preferable benzo to combine with buprenorphine is diazepam. One of my favorites

I'd recommend saving the benzos. As you should know, suboxones block other opiates for a few days, meaning that even if you get a hold of some H it wont take effect until at least two days after taking the sub. And in that case it's could to have the benzos while waiting for your body getting ready for opiates.

I have taken Suboxone with a low dose of xanax (.5) and also with klonopin (1mg)

Both times I felt sedated with no high, euphoria, or anything but sleepiness. BTW you're gonna have to wait at least 24hrs or until you are clearly in withdrawal before you take the suboxone. Otherwise, you will go into bad withdrawal
