Suboxone as real as it is.
I read so much about what ppl say, its crazy the things some of the things that ppl write. so here is to clear it up
yes. subs do have a ceiling effect.
yes. you are able to snort them, but the effect is different for everyone.
yes. you can iv them, but it is a very bad idea because of binders in the pill.
yes. the buzz goes away, and you will form a tolerance fairly quick in week or 2 from starting suboxone.
no. odds are you probably will not od or die from subs, no matter how much u take, but is possible especially if you are on other substances.
yes you can get sick from subs when mixing with other opioids. only if you where to take a opioid then take the subs right after not the other way around.
yes. the naloxone does block other opiods, but so does bupe. and it will take 2 to 3 days at least till you can get high again. though not more than 100 hours.
yes. bupe is an partial agonist, not a full thus for the purpose of it.
yes less really is more. why is because 4 mg is around the cutoff point for the ceiling effect, you might ask. "then why am i on more than that." well that is because of the extremely long half life. if you take more it will stay in your system over the 4 mg mark for an extended period of time this is done to minimize how often you have to dose the medication. also the 4 mg mark can bend a little, but the incline after is not as rapid. So in theory from 4 mg to 32mg it will look more like a long shallow hill instead of a mountain. After 32 mg it becomes a plateau.
yes bupe is more soluble in alcohol than water, but that does not mean it wont work if you snort it.
no the naloxone is not absorbed by the mucus membrains, but more it is metabolized by the liver, and is effective when swallowed.
yes you can seperate the bupe from the naloxone. just use basic physics. bupe more soluble in alcohol, naloxone more soluble in water. though bupe is soluble in warm water thus cold water extraction would be beneficial. if NOT using alcohol. so yes bupe will bind with warmer temp water just not as strong of a bond as alcohol.
yes. you can crush subs, and then put under your tongue. NO your docter probably will not ok this method because he don't want to lose his job over some junkie.
if you have any other q&a you can send them to me or post a reply. as for me personally i don't agree with people abusing suboxone in any way. shape, or form. in my world there are many humans addicted to opioid drugs, and there are alot of ppl out there fighting against suboxone treatment to help. at this point they only have suggestive evidence to argue the why not of suboxone, so please dont give them a reason. this drug is a miracle for lots of addicts. it should be able to be perscribed by any docter, and without contracts or drug tests, in my opinion it should be an OTC medicine. remember suboxone is only a brick in the house of recovery, though it is an important brick it does not make a house. use the 12 steps, AA,NA, counseling, exercise, drop those druggie friends no matter how important they are. nobody is more important in this world than YOU.
