Bupe Suboxone and Xanax, Dangerous?

Hi, i get 8 mg suboxone and 1 mg xanax from my doc, he said it isnt harmful to mix but sadly he's a drug dr. and you can never trust them, all they want is to keep feeding you medication... thanks for your time ppl i often find answers here with out having to even make an account but im staring at these xannies lol
 
I think you will be OK with this combo, many are prescribed more than that. It depends on your individual tolerance.
 
werd, thank you thats all i needed just a little reassurment. but my tolerance is definatly not low unfortunatly.
 
Basic dosage questions belong in BDD, and this thread is answered, so I am gonna close this.. If you stick to your prescribed regimen of suboxone and 1mg xanax, I believe you should be fine. There is always the risk of respiratory depression when combing two CNS depressants, but if you have a tolerance and don't take too many xanax at once, you should be fine. If you notice your breathing getting shallow and not being able to stay awake, then you're approaching the danger zone.

Stick to your prescribed dose, and you'll be fine.
