So I am about to jump back on Suboxone tomorrow and I've done it enough to know what to expect. The first day usually sucks but is tolerable and the seconds is better and so on until around day 4-5 when I feel completely normal. Now the body aches, depression, anxiety and mild fatigue I can deal with for the 2 days when they are there. But its the stomach issues I cannot stand. It ends up that I absolutely can't and have no desire to eat a thing. The good thing is I don't seem to have much of an appetite, but I am nauseous, too. I end up only eating fruit and cereal and that seems to require being forced down. Sometimes all I can stomach is coffee which is good for a 30 minute energy boost, but leaves the stomach feeling even worse. This leads to me feeling even worse because I am malnourished and my stomach shrinks up and is begging for food in it.
Anyone got a good idea what would work best to alleviate this issue. I have a few Zofran, they are past expiration but I don't really care cause I am sure they still have some kick to them. Its helped before but it doesn't mask it completely. My other thought is to take some immodium (loperamide) and see if that settles things down. Thinking maybe it'll settle down my intestines and in turn calm the stomach down with it. I am not thinking of taking some mega dose like people claim get them high, but probably will try more than the recommended dose, like 10-12 mg.
So just wondering if these things have helped anyone who has had the same issues with the stomach being a mess when switching over to Suboxone, and if they used those meds or anything else with success in helping the problem? Thanks for any help in advance.
