I've been using suboxone pretty successfully on and off for about 2 months. I use it for a couple days after I do an Oxy binge to stave away any W/D and thus far has worked wonders for me.
Today was an "off oxy" day and I snorted a small amount of suboxone, really only about .5mg, and about 20 minutes later I had some minor chest pain.
About 10 minutes after that, the chest pain became severe enough that I became VERY aware of it. I didn't notice any marked shortness of breath, or any other alarming symptom, but then I believe I had a panic attack because of the chest pain. I began sweating profusely and my anxiety shot through the roof.
I'm writing this now about 50 minutes after I ingested the suboxone (I'm only guessing this whole episode is related) and I still have a dull achey chest pain. Not as severe as it was before and the "panic attack" has subsided, but I still feel a little off.
It was/is VERY alarming and I think I was about 30 seconds of intense chest pain away from a 911 call. What do you guys think? I've never had ANYTHING like this in 2 years of opiate use, except a particularly bad reaction to codeine which did not involve chest pain and haven't touched since.
