Opioids Suboxone 1mg - harder to walk off 1mg than it sounds. Need help!

But then he’d have a decent kratom habit to kick, no? I’m still shocked how powerful just 1mg of suboxone is. It’s literally night and day. That’s exactly why I need to quit. Tired of my life revolving around chemicals.
I get that. I think going towards a more harm reduction stance is just more sustainable & reduces harm, discomfort, & allows you to keep getting on with your life. If he doesn’t want to be on kratom, he can do a rapid taper over the next two weeks and be done with it, other than some lingering depression afterwards - which exercise seemed to thwart for me for PAWS :) but abstinence is still okay and i support everyone’s choice & autonomy

Hey man careful what you wish for, I think I just may hit you up. Thanks 😎👍
please do mate! love having new friends. i’m sure you know how rural SC is - im way out in a cozy little log cabin haha! well, a little bigger than ‘log cabin’ but is built to look like one.

Thanks, appreciate that. To respond, let me make sure I’ve got this right. You were on half a milligram of Suboxone., only every other day, for three months, and the withdrawal was still too intolerable to walk away from? Assuming I understood that correctly., and I’m honestly not trying to be a dick, I just have a hard time buying it. Unless your symptoms were exclusively psychological, which can happen after quitting many/most recreational drugs.

As far as nobody walking away from anything after a year? Just depends what you take and how much. Take fentanyl everyday for just 2 weeks and good luck walking off. A 20 year norco habit? With some tapering you’ve got a decent shot.
i came from 180mg oxy and a bundle a day yes i couldnt walk it off u will see man be a dick i couldnt I NEVER MET A PERSON WHO WAS ON FOR YEARS AND WALKED AWAY ---PERIOD I HAVE WORKED WITH MY DR I BEEN 13 YEARS CLEAN ON SUB TRIED TO STOP 5-10 TIMES YOU WILL SEE BUDDDY PAWS IS REAL~! AND STILL NEVER EVER SEEN SOMEONE WHO WAS ON SUB A LONG TIME LEAVE AND STAY CLEAN SIMPLE AS THAT MAN

I've been detoxed with Bup, Methadone and kratom and for me kratom is superior to all of them. I think Buprenorphine is the worst drug there is especially trying to get off of it because of it's long half life. Just stick with enough kratom to ease the WD's and taper off of it in 2-3 weeks. I'm a chronic pain patient that still has to use opioids on occasion which is difficult when you overused them in the past but kratom and cannabis has been the best thing for me and as long as you don't abuse it, it seems to help a lot of others as well.

Ok, well I was on Heroin for 20 years, all day everyday. Then 5 years smoking Fent. All day, everyday. Had unlimited amounts to use as I sold it as well. Then I moved to SC (Greenville) where it’s very dry. My sales dried up, and I detoxed cold turkey for a month. Finally broke and went on 1mg suboxone. Then .5mg, and walked off from that as well. Been a few weeks, zero opiates.

I dunno mate, it may be extremely tough, but nigh impossible? Not at all mate, just a question of motivation. Good luck, I sincerely wish you the best .😎👍

Why would you assume I’ve never had to deal with PWDS? I‘Ve spent too many hours in that state to remember. Until I found out how to induce suboxone with ZERO PWDs. Check out the Burnese Method and your PWDS should be a thing of the past. It’s gotta be executed just right though…

I was on subs for a few years and will be coming up 6 years clean from opiates this year.

I started on methadone, was on that for about 10 years, tapered off and relapsed. This time round the clinic wanted me to take subutex, so I did. Here in the UK the smallest dose you can get is 0.4MG in tablet form, so I tapered down to that, then half of a tablet so 0.2MG, then the 0.2MG every other day, then I jumped off.

I didn't honestly notice any withdrawal from doing it this way, and do not believe I experienced PAWS.

Don't do Kratos it will prolonged. Just go 1 MG for a week, then .5 for a week, then half it a week later until you only dose every 2 days. Then drop it and start exercising.
