I started IVing roxies in January, moved to dope in March, and was doing usually a bag of dope a day (0.2 grams). The last time I did a bag was Saturday, June 5th because the next day I left my college town for summer break to come back to my hometown. I have some 8mg Suboxene that I have been taking since Sunday the 6th (1/2 a pill nasally every day).

Well on Monday the 14th I am taking a flight back to college town and I will be there from Mon-Thurs. I know I will cheat and end up doing some dope because it will be the last time I can do it all summer. How much do you think my tolerance will have gone down by Monday if I don't take any suboxene after today? will it have gone down at all?

please no lectures, after this trip I will have no way of getting a hold of any opiates for 2 months...

No lol unfortunately opiate tolerance is a hard one to lower. it'll definitely go down SOME if you took a long break, but not in a few days or week.

Opiate tolerance is a very one sided - doubles in a matter of weeks, and halfs in a matter of months, sometimes years....

Yes sometimes it does stay very high for a long time.. however sometimes just 5-10 days off it can lower your tolerence enougth to where your susceptable to an overdose with your regular shot.. all I'm saying is when you take your first shot back take a small one.. thats usually the one that kills someone or makes them fall out if its gonna happen..

You might notice some slight tolerance drop the first day, very slight and nothing mind blowing. But if you use consecutive days, by the second day, your tolerance will be right back to where it was. For tolerance to drop significantly, you need to abstain from months, even years, and even then your tolerance will never be back at zero again (Prolonged suboxone use won't help with dropping your tolerance much either) And if you do get that point, your tolerance will increase rapidly and you'll be back to where you were i a much shorter time then before.

Seconded.

5 months after quitting H I still wouldn't expect anything close to my first shot, if I relapsed.
