Sublingual roa causeing damage?

I feel like when i now put kpins or xanax under my tounge it hurts, feels like theres skin fucked up....can this be cause from just taking pills sublingulaly? I do at at most 5 times a week sub lingual.

I've wondered about this as well. I've read that tablets that aren't meant to be taken sublingually can screw up your oral mucous membranes due to higher acidity than ODT medications. Also, I've read that continuous SL use can inhibit proper SL nitroglycerin usage in the future.

Both pieces of info are unconfirmed without sources, just online anecdotes.
