Sublingual Ketamine?

Has anyone ever tried taking K by mixing it with water and holding it under the tongue? I currently snort the powder but find the drip pretty unpleasant. Taking it orally produces more norketamine which alters the vibe of the trip.
I'll let you know what happens anyway.
 
Norketamine is something like 4 times weaker, if I remember correctly.
It's not like DXM, which undergoes O-demethylation to dextrorphan (DXO) rather than N-demethylation, and actually becomes "better" when it's metabolized (DXO is a stronger NMDA antagonist than DXM)
 
Norketamine just has a more opiate feel rather than the psychedelic effect. You can still get the full effect orally it just takes more.
I would think sublingual is more like the nasal effect than swallowing tho.
 
WTF? People want the high but don't want to do the drugs.. it's KETAMINE, you snort a TINY LINE, and for that, you get a NICE LONG HIGH - so fill a nasal spray bottle with warm water, snort it, then TOLLERATE THE FUCKING DRIP! Yeah, you can take or orally/sub-l, THIS IS A HUGE FUCKING WASTE.. if the drip is bad, why not IM?

Agreed. Intramuscular injections are the way to go here (Also, I have done extensive experimentation with various needle depths and found that even sub-cutaneous injections of ketamine yield excellent results.)
If you plan to take enough K to facilitate oral absorption (even sublingual) you may very well end up with more uncomfortability that that stuborn drip. K often causes significant nausea when taken orally, and I would bet that even if you were to attempt to keep the liquid under your tongue, more than a fair amount is still going to end up down your throught. Did I mention it also tastes like shit?
Many have argued that Ketamine's psychadelic potential is not fully realized unless it is injected. I would have to agree that the trip is MUCH different, and certainly more intense (Although shorter).

Plug it?
If you want a more opiate high--try heroin.
If you want to k-hole--IM or IV.
Just have a friend stick you while you're not looking. That's how I did it my first time. You barely feel it and when you realize how great the K works, you will not think twice about injecting again.
Try this (ugh)* to make your backdrip better.
*The thought of not injecting K makes me sick.
 
Injection is *THE* way to go.. you're dealing with a pure solution, so it's not like you're cooking up some brew of god-knows-what - it's pharmacutical shit.. and you're not hunting for a vein - this is an IM INJECTION, the way it's SUPPOSED to be done (read the label) .. if you don't want to shoot, because needles are scawee, then SNORT IT.. if you're not willing to snort it, well, forget it!

Actually, all joking aside - the anal absorbtion rate is quite comparable to that of oral administration. IF the drip is truly THAT annoying, and well, you don't mind squirtin' your K up the pooper - technically you'd enjoy similar absorption - I would guess even better than sublingual.
In my opinion this would be a bit much for a only a second rate K high. I know you said you were disinterested in using needles, and I applaud your attempts at creative ingenuity, but the hypodermic route may in fact be your only other viable alternative.

Hang on guys. Yes, I know i'm a girly man for not liking the drip or slamming. What can i do?
We're talking sublingal use here, correct me if i'm wrong but that's not the same as oral or anal use. Isn't it more akin to nasal use than swallowing it? Like with salvia extracts - they obviously arn't being processed by the liver because they come on inside two minutes under your tongue.
 
why not be like one of these weak ass bullshiters and FLAVOR it with vanilla or something like that. i mean i'm all about killing a nasty taste but c'mon, of all the things you can snort K is not that bad. try tasting the drip from Foxy
 
actually it is still processed by the liver even if you snort, inject or whatever....any route you choose will end up in the bloodstream, and all of your blood passes through the liver for filtering.

The taste of ketamine held in the mouth will be much more unpleasant than the drip. You're comparing it to salvia extracts? Salvia is pointless sublingual. Please, I hope you're not talking about 'Sage Goddess Emerald Essence' because that stuff is a true waste of money.
I'm still curious. You have read the book. You know that IM is the only true way to experience the wonders of K. You know that needles are safe when used properly. (You do know that, right?) Why won't you just shoot the shit?
 
I think that since you're so hell bent on the sublingual method, you should just stick some under your tongue and try it. There are going to be very few people here, if any, that do it this way because, well, it tastes like battery acid. You're trying to avoid the taste by putting it directly under the object in your mouth that has taste buds. How this is going to work for you is beyond my comprehension, but please try it and get back to us.
If you're not budging on the needle issue, try using a nasal spray once the drip starts. (that's a tip for after you try the sublingual and realize that it doesn't work so well)
 
Yeah guys, i was talking about the sage goddess emerald essence and yep, i have had fantastic experiences with that stuff. It doesn't work for everyone but it blew me out of the water.
Nasal spray? Tell me more...you spray your nose with what? water? does that wash away the drip faster?
I refuse to inject in my ass for the moment!! Sorry!
