So, I have concerta (the ones marked alza 36 from Watson) & I pulled the coating off n took the yellow n white guts out. I'm doin it sublingual now as I found out insufflation sucks n oral does nothing. All is SL but the plastic as I kno the white coating has a % of methyl whatever lol.

Question is, should it b making my tongue n mouth numb/tingly? And how long til it kicks in?

I read the BA for sublingual is higher than oral. True?

Thanks ?

The only sublingual benefit you will get from concerts is the coating which contains methylphenidate, I don't know how much, but after that you can have that thing under your tongue for hours on end before it begins to even breakdown...only the coating u will benefit possibly SL bio

Don't use concerta sublingually, if at all. That's a waste because of the coating. The coating is a bitch to get off even with a knife and hammer.

The coating should not be wasted! That's the first layer of the release of active methylphenidate....even if it wasn't active, taking a coating off is easy, just get it wet and rub it off, why do ppl waste time scrapping?? The coating on concerta is the 1st dose of methylphenidate release..

I peeled the white coating off & SL that. Then I took a pill splitter & a razor & got the clear coating/shell off. Then I cut off the gray part n trashed it. Took the yellow & white parts (which crumbled in my fingers after plastic shell was gone) & SL all that. I felt a lot calmer (I do have ADHD) but maybe it was mind over matter. Idk..
