Sub to Oxy wait time

I have 180mgs. of oxycontin (3 60mg. ops). I have been on Suboxone for about 6 months. I am prescribed 12mgs. a day, but I only take 2mgs. a day, occassionally 4. What are your opinions/recommendations on how long I should go without sub before taking the oxy. What are your recommendations on dosage of the oxy?

I mean, I will take all 3 at once if it will break through (without killing me obviously), but I imagine someone will have a more sensible plan.

I've read to wait 12 to 24 hours but I'm very new to suboxone. I've been on methadone 31 years and suboxone 2 days. I was reading to find out how long to wait before redosing suboxone if I take methadone again. Hope this helps.
 
If you're taking 2 mg subs, then you should wait at least 24 hours to take oxy probably longer than that even. There's no real good set time, but I don't think you will feel the oxy if you take it sooner than that.
 
Thanks also for the answers. Sorry I'd think for oxy it's the same formula. Just a shorter wait time switching back to subs. Than methadone. I ate oxy like candy when I hadn't anything.
 
It will take much more to break through and is very dangerous. I od'ed that way. I've been on subutex for a year but was on suboxone before that and durring that time had several relapses where I tried to overpower the naloxone. end result was a wasted grand and no high first time. od the second. as far as wait time for me it was around 36 hours before dope or oxy would work. hope that helps man...please don't try take the oxy's it's a waste of drugs. patience.
 
I usually take about 8 mg sub a day, and can feel high when i take 2 op 80s or snort a 30 mg roxi. Definately works better if you havent taken sub that same day, and works even better the longer you wait after takin ur bupe. But imo u would definately feel 180 mg of oxy on top of your 4mg bupe. Thats only if u cant handle stopping the bupe for a couple days tho. IF I had 3 60s and no drug test coming up, id probly stop bupe for a day or two and then let the 3 60s last me 2 or 3 days instead of just feeling barely high once.
Your probly gunna withdrawal from the oxy though, so id be more worried about having a buffer day between you oc/ops and going back on subs. thats whats gunna suck
 
Actually 4mg a day is the threshold, anything above 4mg a day will effect that. And in order to feel relief from subs at all a person must wait 24 hours between doses, so wait the normal 24 hours and it will be ok.
 
After taking suboxone (I only used about 1mg per day) it would take me at least 2 days to feel the oxy and 3 or 4 to get fully buzzed.. and im 5'10" 150lbs..
