I tried one of those orange sub stips the other day and wow.. was i sicker than ever, woke up with sweats and the whole nosense of withdraw:\ anyways.. ive never exprienced that with the regular pills that ive used for over a year now. not too sure why, but i cant seem to find them in my area anymore. point being... does one make you sicker than the other or are they just the same, because ive had a few of my firends tell me there thee same for them.

If you use the search function, you will find myriads of threads about suboxone strips. Check out the New Suboxone film official thread

As for your question, there is absolutely ZERO difference in effects between the strips, and the pills. Both contain buprenorphine and naloxone. There is a slight difference in the inactive ingredients, but there is no reason why one should make you sick and one does not..

Are you on suboxone maintenance? Or just taking suboxone when you do not have your opiate of choice.. If you do not take any other opiates, it is puzzling why the strips would make you sick. Now if you took it because you do not have your opiate of choice, it is possible you did not wait long enough after your last dose and caused precipitated withdrawals.

If you do not know what this is, it is what happens when you take suboxone too soon after taking other opiates. It causes the other opiates to be thrown off your receptors rapidly, due to the binding affinity of buprenorphine being greater than other opiates. This causes you to experience severe withdrawal symptoms in a rapid fashion due to the shock of all the opiates being ripped off of yoru receptors. This is not pleasant and far more severe than your typical withdrawal symptoms.

If you can be more concise with your situation and questions we will be able to help you better. This topic has been beaten to death, though, so it will not stay open but I will leave it for now until you respond with more details.

Was the mg amount the same as what you usually take? I can't think of any other reason why you would get sicker with the strips.
